About UsEstablished in the year 1926, as a small manufacturing unit by its founder Mr. Man Singh, Greysham started by manufacturing agricultural components and hand pumps, etc for the domestic market.
During World War II, Greysham joined the war effort in supplying semi rotary hand pumps for use in diesel and petrol tankers, under annual rate contract. At the end of the World War II Greysham had grown to a team of 60 employees. The company had firmly established itself as a preferred supplier to the British Government in India. Mr. Govind Singh, the present Chairman of Greysham International, joined the company in 1954, after graduating in Metallurgical Engineering from U.K.
Mr. Govind Singh then a young man of 23 years embarked on a mission to modernize the production facilities and developed and fabricated for the Indian Railways, the first prototype of the Railway vacuum brake system, which eventually would become the product champion of the company. Mr. Singh had established Greysham as a pragmatic, innovative proactive organization. |
