gsl was established in the year 1955 under the name of swatantar mechanical works. The company under the chairmanship of ajit singh swatantar, ventured into the textile world by manufacturing carding machines.
during 1980?s, the company was renamed as gsl textile india pvt ltd. The current chairman mr. Ghansham singh lotey, expanded the business and started indigenous manufacture and supply of other cadre of textile machinery. ? with over 4 decades of experience and expertise, today gsl offers wide range of textile machinery including:

• finishing machinery - raising, shearing, brushing, polishing and seuding.


• carding machines ? worsted, semi-worsted and woolen cards, jute card, silk card, turbo card and air random cards.


• gill boxes ? intersecting gill head (jute), chain gill head, rotary gill head, crimping & trimping system (for jute / silk / sizal / hump / banana fabric)
  


• pilot plants ? for education and r&d institutes. Woolen cum semi-worsted pilot plant, cotton pilot plant and woven pilot plant.
