The company was established in the year 1977 with a view of develop ancillary industry to serve the needs of power generation. The company was established with three working partners and is still in the ame form, with rich experience and successful projects to establish our competence in Power generation and Material Handling Systems.
We have strived hard to achieve good designing, engineering and quality of workmanship to the satisfaction of out clients. In appreciation, our company has always been trusted with repeated orders from clients. This has led to the growing of our client list without any advertisement.
The company has taken up many import substitute work in the field of turbine repairs for Gujarat Electricity Board. One of such project was to renovate 3.6MWS radial flow STALL Turbines at Kandla Power station. The T/G sets were unserviceable and were to send to parent company in Sweden for major repairs involving complete Stream chest Labyrinth replacement, Turbine inter stage sealing with disc replacements, expansions rings, and retaining rings. The nature of the work was of very delicate nature with very close tolerances the design of the turbine is one of the most intricate one as the turbine rotors fit into each other and rotate in opposite directions. The repairs/replacements were carried out at our works and re commissioned by us.
At Gandhinagar power station we had designed and executed several new items to improve upon quality and down time for 120MWS T/G sets. One of the innovative work was of reaming of coupling holes of H.P./I.P., I.P/L.P., at site to a close tolerance. A machine was designed, manufactured specially made at our works to carryout the work. This was normally done by hand till then, time taken to ream ten holes was 15 to 20 days with no accuracy on the direction of axis of the hole. We did the work in 6-7 working days correcting all the errors of hand reaming done earlier.
Critical parts such as Barring Gears for 120MWS sets were made without any drawings and material specifications given to us. Bowl Mill bearing housing were made out of centrifugally cast technology which enhanced the normal life to three times.
We had designed, manufactured, supplied, erected and commissioned special Traversing chute to eliminate segregation of coal lumps for Thermax Spreader Stoker Boilers for their Boilers at DCW Ltd. And GHCL Veravcal plant. These chutes work for 24 hrs duty, 365 days a year.
