Prof. T.Elavarasu M.Pharm.‚ (Pharmacognosy)‚ basically from Tamilnadu‚ had his under and post graduation in Herbal Medicine at J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, Ooty. He had a strong concept in his mind to explore the strength of Traditional / Natural Herbs among the people and to create the awareness on the importance and utility of the same. While his wife Mrs Jayajothi Elavarasu carried out her M.Pharm project in Antioxidants‚ it hit his mind to showcase the essentiality of the powerful antioxidants to a human for their well being.

He started his career in a Herbal Industry in 1991‚ continuing as a Lecturer and Professor in Pharmacognosy (Herbal Medicine)‚ slowly streamlined and gave life for his thoughts by starting his own business in a very small level of manufacturing and marketing Green Tea‚ a natural and potent antioxidant‚ his first product. His intense thought of seed has started growing to a new plant.

PRODUCTION

GTEE has a Standard set up of machineries to make a perfect blend of speciality teas‚ to produce hermitically sealed tea bags with outer envelope, loose packaging, lamination of finished products‚ etc.

The company has imported automatic tea bag packaging machines from Taiwan and Argentina which has a high output capacity to fulfill the existing and upcoming orders.

Utmost care is observed in every step of manufacture to maintain the quality ethics‚ as if producing a medicinal product.

GTEE procures the best quality raw material directly from the cultivators and carry out some preliminary process like Garbling‚ Color Sorting‚ Moisture Removing‚ quality assurance test and Phytochemical analysis‚ to enhance its quality & standard before the manufacturing process.

The QC passed raw material will undergo communition‚ graded for particular size to pack as tea bags‚ sterilized and stored in sealed containers before packing.

The tea bags are packed in an outer envelope too‚ which ensures preserving aroma and maintain the quality during the shelf life.
