Optimization and Control of particle size are becoming ever more important in the development of pharmaceutical products. Air jet micronization is a well proven technique that consistently produces particles in the 1-30 micron range. The advantages of air jet micronizers are; particle reduction occurs due to particle to particle collisions with limited reduction from metal to product contact and no generation of heat. Other advantages include no moving parts and easy to clean surfaces. The primary benefit to micronizing is the better absorption of the drugs to the Human System due to the increase in surface area. * Feeding System. * Milling Chamber. * Filtercon System. * Control Panel. Feeding System :We provide two types of feeding system along with the Jet Mill.
1. Vibratory Feeder: The system is consists of Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeder. It consists of product hopper with trough. The vibration of the feeder can be adjusted with the knob provided on the feeder.
2. Screw feeder: The system is consists of Twin or single screw which will be driven by suitable motor and gearbox. The speed can be controlled by Variable Frequency Drive. Milling Chamber:
The Milling Chamber is made up of flat circular disc The material enters the chamber through a ventury by pressurized air or any inert gas. The micronisation in the chamber takes place due to the collision between the incoming particles and the particles which are accelerated into the spiral path. The larger particles of the product get retained at the periphery of the chamber by a centrifugal force and the smaller particles exit with the exhaust air from the central port of the chamber. Filtercon System: The fine particles exhausted from the central port of the chamber get collected in product receiver and the air get released from the filter bag made up of Satin non shredding cloth. The filter bag is provided with time controlled pneumatic bag shaking arrangement wherein the bag is automatically cleaned with a set time interval. . Pneumatic lifting system is provided for lifting product receiver. Control Panel:

The basic principal of mixing is to convert the rotational energy of the mixer shaft into the correct combination of flow, shear and turbulence to achieve the required process result. M/s Gudhi Engineering can meet your wet and dry mixing requirements for batch and continuous operations at atmospheric pressure and also under vacuum. The Planetary Mixer is designed to comply the Indian FDA, US FDA rules and in accordance with cGMP specification for all Pharmaceutical Industries. CAPACITY- 5 Ltrs to 600 Ltrs M.O.C SS 304, SS 316, SS 316 L The Planetary Mixer is consisting of following main components: Bowl / Vessel Mixing Unit Lifting / Lowering & Tilting Arrangement Control Panel. Bowl /Vessel: The material to be mixed is put into the Bowl / vessel. Bowl / vessel can be Jacketed or Non Jacketed. The shape of the bowl can be Vertical Cylindrical with bottom flat end or dish end depending upon the process application. The cover of the bowl is of cylindrical shape with a flange at the bottom. The cylindrical head envelopes the planetary head and the bottom flange of the cover is designed to lock with the flange of the bowl. Mixing Unit : The mixing unit comprises of 2 Kneading blades, one blade rotating in the centre position and other blade rotating at the periphery on own axis as well as around the central blade, in planetary motion. The other blades rotate in contra rotating direction to the Center Blade. Lifting / Lowering & Tilting Arrangement: The lifting and lowering arrangement of the mixing unit can be achieve with the help of Hydraulic Cylinders or with the help of motorized Lead Screw. The bowl tilting can be achieved with Gear and Pinion arrangement manually.

We offer to our clients an array of Vibro Sifter which is manufactured as per international standards. This is a multi-layered circular gyratory screen which separates solids from solids, liquid from solids and gradation of materials according to their varied shapes and sizes. The material is fed on the center of top screen and the screen is in the middle of feeding hopper and bowl. Further, the small material passes swiftly through the screen when it passes through the periphery. The extra large material continuously gets discharged through a tangential outlet. This phenomenon is achieved by specially designed vibratory motor with eccentric top and bottom weights rigidly mounted to the main screening assembly. Adding on, the assembly is supported on the exclusively designed springs, which allows free vibration of the screen assembly. The Drying chamber consisting of Double Cone and shell with Jacket for Hot water circulation, Insulation and Cladding. Within the chamber there are lump breakers which not only avoid the formation of lumps or block but also they allow to mill and powder the product during the last phase of the drying Process. The Drying takes place due to the circulation of the Hot water in the jacket through rotary joint and vacuum inside. The continuous revolving action of the dryer gives the uniform mixing of the product. | The Octagonal Blender is use to blend the powders or granules. The result is homogenous blending regardless of the Particle size, density etc. Octagonal shaped with rectangular centre with rectangular top frustum and conical bottom discharge nozzle. Piped baffles are provided to reduce mixing time & to avoid lump formation. Manhole with gasket is provided for the cleaning. Charging and discharging is through a butterfly valve. Pulse Jet Dust Collection System |
During charging or discharging of powder in to various machines dust is generated and remains suspended in the area. This dust if not removed, either falls on the floor or machine itself or gets conveyed in to return duct / risers, which in turn chokes filters and damages cooling coil in case of recirculation. Also it created unhealthy working atmosphere for operators with increased cross contamination of the products. This dust is sucked along with the air through suction hoods and conveyed to a branch pipe into hopper of the Pulse Jet Dust Collector. Dusty air rises in the bag housing & passes across filter surface, dust remains over the outer surface of filter and clean air moves inward. Air is discharged from outlet. A high pressure centrifugal blower is located at the terminal end of the system. The each row of filter bags is cleaned with high pressure air pulse inserted in filter bag in reverse direction of air flow, controlled by solenoid valves. Filter Housing: These are made up of stainless steel cylindrical vertical hood with conical bottom in which filter bags are fixed. After entering from bottom hopper, the dust laden air moves vertically upward due to negative pressure created by centrifugal blower and passes across filter cloth where filtration takes place. The filters get cleaned by the high pressure pulse jet controlled by solenoid valve. On & off timing between two events of pulsing is controlled by sequential timer which governs on timing of pulsing & time duration between two pulses. Centrifugal Suction Blower and Silencer: These are developed using aluminum with type backward inclined and IS-2062 lined inside with Glass Wool. Filtered air is sucked by blower and discharged to atmosphere. Bottom Hopper: The Bottom Hopper is fabricated using high-grade stainless steel. As the air enters the hopper, velocity suddenly drops due to increase in cross sectional area and then falls below transport velocity. Therefore most of the particles are collected in the hopper. Control Panel: We provide non FLP / FLP and electro-pneumatic control panel to our clients. The panel is designed according to the norms of Indian Electrical Standard.
