Port Pipavav is an all-weather port located just 152 nautical miles from Nhava Sheva in Mumbai. The port’s location in the state of Gujarat provides immediate access to a rich hinterland and key markets in northwest India.
EU-recognised Container Freight Station (CFS) facilities are located just 200 metres from the quay. After stuffing, containers can be moved from the CFS to the vessel in just ten minutes, streamlining the movement of goods through the port.
With a total land area of 590 hectares, and at least 400 hectares of land available for expansion of port-related services and businesses, Port Pipavav has ample room to grow. The port has leased out land for a variety of services, including private reefer technicians, who offer repair, maintenance and pre-trip inspection services. |
