Gunatit Builders Pvt. It provides consultancy services for its specialized solution for hot dip galvanizing plant. It also provides services as a quality lining contractor of acid proof bricks, FRP lining, oil fired furnace such as steel plant, galvanizing furnace and hot dip galvanizing plant. The Galvanizing plants designed and erected by us are being used across India and other G.C.C. countries. The acid and chemical resistant clay bricks are featured products in our assortment of construction and refractory materials. We manufacture these clay bricks as per Indian Standard Specifications i.e. I.S. 4860- 1968. These are quality tested and approved by Central Glass Ceramic Research Institute, Ahmedabad. We manufacture clay bricks with a capacity of 1000 MT per month. We provide these acid and chemical resistant clay bricks in various shapes and types such as Arch Bricks, Tapper Bricks, Sleeves, Tongue & Groove Bricks. These are used in following application areas:

We provide a qualitative range of acid proof bricks that are widely used on Chemical Process Floor and in ETP / WTP Tank. Furane: It is an identical resin base mortar available only with us which can resist most of acids, alkalies, solvents, salts, greases at different concentration and temperature. It is suitably used in refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, yarn processing, precious metal projects even in awkward chemical conditions. It can resist temperature up to 170°C. It is generally used as bedding & jointing or as jointing/pointing mortar in acid proof bricks / tile / stone lining & flooring work.
 
CNCL: It is a unique cashew base most identical and highly demanded acid proof cement-mortar that is widely used in almost all type of projects like dye- intermediate, power, steel, pharma, fertilizers, bulk-drug, process houses, rayon, chemicals, oil base industries.
 
Epoxy: Epoxy is the most widely applicable material against corrosion. It is used as coating, screeding, grouting and jointing material. It is also used for bonding old to new concrete. Epoxy base Coating has highest abrasion resistance properties among all resins available in market.
 
Primer: We provide an industrial asphalt base anti-corrosive Primer. It is used to protect structures against atmospheric corrosion and effects created by acid fumes and dry wet gases.
 
Phenolic: It is another bedding & jointing or only jointing/pointing mortar for acid proof brick / tile / stone lining work and it can resist oxidizing and organic chemicals up to 170°C. It is suitable where sulphuric acid is used from dilute at 5% to highly concentrated up to 93% such as in Phosphates and Fertilizer base industries.
 
K - Silicate
: The K-silicate offered by us is a pure, buff white powder and crystal clear. The solution of K-Silicate mortar is generally used as a bedding mortar in all types of bricks, tile & stone lining work. It is highly recommended where concentrated sulphuric and nitric acids are used. It is most identical cement-mortar for the acid proof and refractory brick lining work into the RCC Chimneys & Towers since it has a unique nature of acid and heat resistant. It can resist temperature up to 900C.
 
Sulphur: We offer hot melt type acid-proof cement that resists oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals up to certain limits. It is the best jointing cement for acid brick / tile lining work in battery charging rooms. It resists temperature up to 90°C.
 
Mastic Compound: We provide hot melt type corrosion resistant cement in slab shape that resists dilute acids, alkalies, salts, etc. It is used for heavy duty industrial flooring and brick / tile inter-liner material as an effective laying system for floors / elevated floors of chemical storage tank-pads in refinery, gases and oil base projects.
 
Carbon Filled Mortar Against 'Hydro Floric Acid'
: We provide 100% carbon filled cement for resistance against Hydrofloric acid, floride salts and other strong alkalies. Carbon bricks and tiles of different sizes are also available.

It possess feature like corrosion resistance in different environments. It protects steel from corrosion in two ways called as cathodic protection and barrier protection. Hot Dip Galvanizing has a proven track record of protection in a myriad of applications for over 150 years.

The Galvanizing Process: The basic elements to the galvanizing process:
  • Surface Preparation
  • Galvanizing
  • Inspection/ Finishing
Surface Preparation: It is the most important step in the application of any coating. In any galvanizing process, the surface preparation process contains its own built-in means of quality assurance and quality control. Zinc simply doesn’t react with a steel surface that is not perfectly clean. Surface preparation for galvanizing typically consists of three steps:
  • Caustic Cleaning
  • Acid Pickling
  • Fluxing
Galvanizing: In this step, the material is completely immersed in a bath of a minimum of 98% pure molten zinc. The bath temperature is maintained at about 4500C. Fabricated items are immersed in the bath long enough to reach bath temperature. The articles are slowly withdrawn from the galvanizing bath and the excess zinc is removed by draining, vibrating, and centrifuging. The steel then goes into a dilute chromate quench giving the product a long-lasting luster.

Finishing: Visual inspection is considered the most important method of inspection for galvanized articles. The physical and laboratory tests performed for finished products are based on following parameters:

  • Uniformity of the coating
