KARAM" ALL GEARED LATHE MACHINES are best known for their Quality, Production, Precision & Durability. Built to most modern design they combine great speed and accuracy of operation with unusual ease of control with no deflection under heavy cuts. Machine Bed is made of Graded Castings, properly ribbed & seasoned to have proper Brinell Hardness with duly ground guideways. Head Stock : All Geared Head Stock is totally enclosed, oil bath, provides 9 spindle speeds. The gears are hardened and ground for long life and silent running. Carriage is wide enough to have max. bearing surface with rigid tool support. The slides are accurately scrapped. Wipers to prevent the cuttings entering underneath, internal Lubrication system for smooth running and a four way tool post are provided with the machine. tool post are provided with the machine. Thread & Feed Box : Dial type Norton Gear Box is suitable to cut MM, British, D.P. and Module threads with very simple operation and without changing the back gears. Apron Box : Engaging and disengaging, automatic sliding and surfacing feeds are effected with special technique. An interlock prevents simultaneous engaging of Half Nut & Feed. Tail Stock : The robustly constructed and properly reamed Tail Stock on separate prismatic Guideway on the bed can be locked by a lever and a bolt. Machine is supplied with Full Electricals & control panel board. Taper Turning Attachment, Coolant Pump, Turcite-B Linings & 3-Jaws Self centering chuck or 4-Jaws Independent dog chuck etc. can be supplied at extra cost.
