Filters & Filter Elements

Use of compressed air as a source of energy is increasing day by day to safety and ease of use. At the same time, it is becoming imperative that the compressed air is clean and oil and odor free. We offer a wide range of filters for this application. We have pre-filters, also known as compressed air filters using Sintered Bronze, Porous Plastic or Ceramic filter element, Fine Filter using boro-silicate fibre glass down to 0.01 micron and less than 0.01 ppm of oil carry over and Activated Carbon filter for odor and vapor removal for less than 0.001 ppm of oil carry over. We specialize in compressed air with very low pressure drops hence saving energy for our customers.

The smaller size filters are available in Aluminum housings while for larger flows the housings can be Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel. The pressure vessels are built to ASME standards and we can offer coded vessels also if required.

Industry needs of getting cleaner gases for their process has made us develop a range of gas filters for this application. Starting from simple conical strainers and going on to more sophisticated media like borosilicate fibre glass reduces contaminants of particulates as well oil vapor carry over. The gas filters are made for low pressure drop applications by increasing filtration area by pleating. We also offer suitable filter housings compatible with the gas.

SS 304/ SS 316 and SS 316 L single element and multi elements filter housings with tri-clover body and end connections with a wide range of process filter cartridges like PP Spun, Sintered SS and SS woven and non woven construction. The process filter cartridges are polished for mirror finish internally and externally. Electro polished finishing is also offered as optional.

Air intake filters also called suction filters for Engines, Compressors and Blowers and Pulse Jet Filters for Gas Turbines, we can offer you complete system as well as filter elements. The efficiencies of the Air intake filters, elements will be as customer specifications and we can offer a wide range of media and construction.

There is an increasing need for cleaner environment be it office, plants and homes. We have a wide range of air filters used in HVAC Systems, AHU Systems and for other industrial blower applications where dust and dirt are to be removed.

Liquid filters are mainly classified into two types, Bag Filters and Cartridge Filters. Bag Filters are used where large volumes of liquids are to be filtered containing low levels of solids. Filter Bags are made up of a variety of fabrics like polyester, poly propylene, Aramids, PTFE, Nylon, SS in woven and non woven construction and mixed felts and are chosen based on compatibility with the liquids to be filtered.

Cartridge Filters in configurations of Spun, Wound and Pleated are available.  Pleated Cartridges give long life as they have very large filtration area. Filtration from 0.5 microns to 100 microns and lengths upto 40” (Even 50” in some configurations available). We offer filter housings for bag as well as cartridge filters in PP, CS, SS 304, SS 316, SS 316L and FRVE. Larger filter housings have built in davits for easy opening for change of filter elements,  cartridges or bags.

We can supply filter elements for all industrial applications like hydraulic oil, air, mineral and synthetic oil, gas, water and other liquids. The media used vary from cellulose, synthetic, glass fibre to wire meshes depending on application. We can also manufacture and supply equivalent filter elements to most international makes.

We are offering our clients with filters which are useful for separation of suspended particles in liquids up to 1micron. The selection depends on the flow rates, contamination level, operating temperature, operating pressure and type of liquid.

Customized filtration systems are necessary in industrial environments where special clean air requirements are requisite. We have standard air intake filters with capacities from 1000 to 60000 scfm and with connections up to 48 inches. Larger filters are custom-designed. These find use as suction filters in blowers, compressors and engines.

We also have a unique activated carbon fibre media that shows excellent adsorption properties for gaseous as well as heavy metal vapours. This new generation material with potential for a wide range of novel application – adsorption of gaseous pollutants for personal protection, air purification for buildings, hotels, centralized and room air conditioning, solvent recovery, de-odorizing and de-coloring in food processing and beverage industry etc. It also finds applications in cigarette smoke filtration, taste and flavour control, personal protection clothing/ masks, wound dressing, blood purification, carrier catalysts in reactions, bio-chemical studies and in liquid phase – water treatment plants for waste water, swimming pools and super clean drinking water etc.
