About UsThe Wirth Group is a family-run company, now in its second generation, that has earned a name for itself with its quality and reliability. With its four production plants on three continents, the name Wirth is known far beyond its original plant in the Swabian state of Balzheim, Germany. We've always been able to carve out new market shares with our flexible and intelligent applications. We also have flat hierarchical structures, meaning a minimum of red tape. But one thing we never forget is thinking in terms of quality. When we launched production in 1981, we rolled out a quality system that logically earned us DIN EN ISO 9001 certification in 1995 - incidentally, we were one of the first in our industry.
We have repositioned ourselves in the highly competitive market for metal removing because we don't just see our future in manufacturing rotating cutting tools. We believe that hard material coating and service will be more crucial to the future. As operators of hard material coating plants, we are now in a position to offer our own coating operations at all of our production venues. This will dramatically scale back reaction times while satisfying our customer's needs for fast flexibility. We have further invested in the future by building an R&D research and development laboratory offering expertise for all types of applications. Since no one user can keep on top of the entire field of mental removing, we are glad to put our heads together with our customers to arrive at the right solution. |
