About UsHameed Group is the India's one of the biggest manufacturer and exporter of Buffalo Finished leather. We are in leather finishing trade for 24 years and our production capacity of finished leather is about 20, 00,000 square feet per month. There are four companies under Hameed Group.
Hameed Leather Finishers-This is the prime company, which has the major production of the finished and semi finished Established in the year 1987. It is the 100% export house gaining its great heights under the supervision of Irshad Alam
Hameed Sons Exports- This is the trading company and is established in the year 1994. This company supports to the prime company in its export business.
Naushad Leather Finishers-This is a production company, which adds to the great support to the prime production unit Hameed Leather Finishers and making the exports individually also and is established in the year 1992.
Hameed Tannery- This is established in the year 1995 and is not the export unit but works in the local market. Its main function is to assist the all three concerns, which are engaged in the Exports. It purchases the raw materials for the export units and helps in the production to execute the export orders.
Company produces Buffalo Finished leather like Barton print, Zuggrain Print, Haircell print, Rambler print, Buff print, Lunar print and so on. It is prepared in waterproof and without waterproof (Din & Non din) in all categories. The finished leather, which is produced, is mainly imported by the customers who manufacture the safety shoes, army boots and military shoes. Having specialization in this field the leather is exported in the Europe, CIS countries, Middle East and in the Asian countries.
In other than the safety works the company prepares the shoe uppers, which is also a major production of the company in the international standards. At present due to the changed trend of the upholstery market there is huge demand of the upholstery leather. For this the company has imported special machines, which can make the splitting of the big hides at one time and also can measure easily the whole hide in very less time. Our semi-finished leather is in great demand in Italy, Thailand and other European countries and they are taking it in huge quantity from us. They refinish our leather and make it suitable for the sofa and car upholstery. We have big production of this kind of leather.
Other than safety leather the company prepares shoe uppers as well as complete shoe, which is also a major product of the company for the international market.

AchievementsHameed Group started gaining the great heights when Irshad Alam handled the rope of the company. He is the youngest among five sisters and four brothers and was born on 15th August 1974 in the Muslim family in the city "Kanpur" which is situated in the Northern Part of India. From his birth he was very devotional to the Almighty and this dedication brought him to the great success.
After completing his school education from the Air Force School he graduated from the Kanpur University. Just after completing his education he started helping his father, who has given the start up platform of the "Hameed Group" in his leather business, which was then based only on the domestic market. Who knew that day that he will become the Pioneer of Hameed Group.
When Irshad Alam entered in the business total turnover of company was not appreciable and also it was through domestic trade only in year 1994- 1995 .He was very keen with all aspects and gradually he was seated as the Director of Hameed Leather as he was very qualified among all his brothers. He studied all aspects of the company and decided to expand the company's production and to make it a 100% export unit.
He implemented the foreign business strategy and started to work with the new method of communication and thus was success in getting the orders from abroad and also paid attention to production. After some time the Government registered the company as an export house. Gradually the turn over of the company increased and now Hameed Group is counted among the reputed business groups in the region.
Three year back he took the decision to modernize his company by installing with the latest machinery. Without the involvement of the bank he has purchased the machinery to expand the production. At present due to the changed trend of the upholstery market there is huge demand of the upholstery leather and by this the upholstery leather business has increased very remarkably and thus easy to capture the market of Thailand and Italy and other European countries and they are taking it in huge quantity from us. They refinish the company leather and make it suitable for the sofa and car upholstery.
In other than the safety works the company prepares the shoe uppers, which is also a major production of the company in the international standards. Irshad Alam the company Pioneer has achieved a lot at his very young age, he worked hard for the company's growth and he controls every movement of the company.
He can speak Czech Language and can understand the German Language. His hobbies are to read books, listen music and to drive his Mercedes and BMW cars. He is very creative and always thinks how to make things better.
The company's future is bright and it is flourishing day by day under the leadership of Irshad Alam and very soon the day is coming when you will hear this name among top ten in the world. We all wish for the bright future of the company.
