  • Outer body is made of mild steel sheet. Thick fiberglass cloth is used for the inner surface. Glasswool is used for insulation. Heaters are of Nichrome 80/20, and are carefully designed to provide uniform surface temperature of up to 450OC. Flexible and elastic heating elements ensure close contact with the flask surface, minimizing tilting or breakage of glassware. Heating mantles are electrically operated at 230 Volts, AC, Single phase, 50 Hz supply.
  • Temperature controlled by Energy Regulator / Capillary Thermostat

  • Outer body is made of thick Mild Steel sheet. Furnace is lagged with ceramic wool and hysil blocks for insulation. A thermal fuse is provided to cut off in the event of chamber temperature rising above set temperature, thus saving the heating element from burning off. A control box made of mild steel, is fitted on the right side top of the furnace. It consists of indicating lamps, On/Off switch, contactor, fuse and digital temperature controller along with Cr/Al thermocouple sensor.
  • Muffle Furnace : Maximum Temperature – 950 OC
  • Heating elements are made of Nichrome 80/20, made into spirals and wound on a ceramic muffle.
