| Perlite We offer a wide range of perlite that is sourced from best mines all over the world. Perlite is a generic name for naturally occurring siliceous volcanic rock that contains 3 - 4 % occlude water. When perlite is heated up to 9500 C. it pops also expands up to 20 times than its original volume. The expansion process is caused because of the presence of water in the crude rock. If our range of perlite ore is rapidly heated above 8500 C. [16000 F], the water vaporizes and causes the softened rock to expand. Tiny bubbles are produced that account for the light weight and white colour of perlite. In addition, our range of perlite has following features: High flow rates: Perlite has excellent physical properties and hence perlite filter aids offer high flow rates with optimum clarity. These are widely applicable to highly viscous liquids such as syrup or gelatinous slurries that require fast flow rates. Hence following are the features of our range - Increases productivity

Easy cake release: One of the benefits of using perlite filter aids in food processing is that spent filter cake material is used as a component in animal feed. As perlite remain porous and do not compact Perlite filter aids afford cake release at the completion of a filtration cycle. This helps in reducing spent filter cake disposal cost.
