| Towel Clamps
We offer our clients with towel clamps that are used for maintaining the correct position of surgical towels and drapes during an operation. These towel clamp forceps are offered in different types, one of which is Backhaus towel clamp, which is a kind of locking forceps with curved, pointed tips. Offered in different varieties and different sizes, our surgical clamps exhibit the following details:
• Construction:
o Locking type
o Curved ends
o Pointed beak or blunt and flat beak
o May overlap in closed position
• Material of clamp: Stainless steel
or other sterilizable material which can be recovered, autoclaved or sterilized, and reused
• Material of towel: Non-woven fabric and intended to be discarded after a single use (Can be recovered after each operation for sterilization and reused)
• Features:
o Avoids excessive closing pressures in their usual closed position and thereby prevents damage to the delicate walls of pinched blood vessels
o Do not require special tools for opening the jaws of the clamp to receive a blood vessel
o Do not require tool to re-open and remove the clamps when the surgical procedure is completed
o Used to connect toweling which drapes or covers those regions of a surgical patient’s anatomy which are not exposed during the surgical procedure |

| Artery Forceps - Mosquito Type
We are instrumental in fabricating artery forceps – mosquito type that are designed to handle, grasp or compress tissues or organs, including arteries. These forceps are applicable for can either holding the artery in place or closing off the artery, depending on the circumstances. These forceps have a locking mechanism near the finger loops and are and are sometimes referred to as clamps or kelly-type forceps. The finger loops provided in these forceps facilitate handling, grasping and holding of tissues and arteries that cannot be held with the normal hand alone. These forceps are called hemostats, when they are used to compress an artery to stop bleeding. |
