Automatic Soil Compactor

We offer a wide range of automatic soil compactor, which replaces the hand compaction procedure as specified for dry density and moisture content relationship of soil. These can perform light and heavy compaction tests, using 100 mm diameter or 150 mm diameter compaction moulds. Further the height of drop of the 50 mm diameter rammer can be set to 310 mm or 450 mm as per the clients requirement.

Apart from this, our machines are designed with a standard rammer weighing 2.6 kg for conducting light compaction and its weight can be increased to 4.89 kg for heavy compaction test by attaching additional rod, which is supplied along with it. Moreover, while using 100 mm diameter mould the rammer carriage is locked in one position and the total area of the mould is compacted in about 25 strokes.

We offer a wide range of digital direct shear, which helps to perform direct shear and residual shear through a total computer control, conforming to IS 2720 (Part-XIII) and BS 1377. This is a table mounted model and has stepper motors controlling shearing load.

Further, the stress levels can be maintained with in the limits of 0.5% through set of weights. In addition, vertical and horizontal displacements and shearing load are all displayed in their respective engineering units on LCD display.

Apart from this, the maximum strain rate that can be achieved is 9.9999mm/min and the minimum strain rate can be programmed as low as 0.0001mm/min.

Our range of HEICO digital triaxial is totally automated stress-path system for soils and conforms to the test requirements of IS-2720 (Part-12) and BS-1377. The modules of our range like load frame, confining pressure, back pressure, pore pressure or volume change are completely controlled by the dedicated computer.

The specimen is assembled in the triaxial cell and for the required parameters like strain rate, confining pressure and back pressure are programmed through the computer. Our system have window based software for controlling and data acquisition. Further, our system can perform tests under the following conditions:
  • Shear in UC, UU, CU, CU & CD.
  • Stress path triaxial test.

Electronic Triaxial

Static Cone

Static Cone


Our static cone are used for penetration test to collect data about bearing capacity and frictional resistance of soil. These meets the essential requirements of IS:4968 (Part – III), the probing part consists of a cone which has an apex angle of 60o and an overall base diameter of 35.7 mm equivalent to area of 10 cm2.

Further, the cone of our equipment is connected with sounding rods, which are protected by mantle tubes. The test procedure consists of first pushing the cone alone, then the cone and the friction jacket and finally the whole assembly in sequence through specified depth. Then the readings are taken for every 20 cm of penetration and helps in recording of continuous data of end bearing and frictional resistance of soil.
