Login/Account Setting

  1. I forgot my username/password. How do I retrieve it?

I forgot my username/password. How do I retrieve it?

  • Visit my.indiamart.com
  • Click on 'Forgot Password'
  • Enter the same e-mail id that you had provided at the time of registration
  • Click on 'Submit'
  • An e-mail will be sent to you with username and password


I want to change my password.

Please follow the steps given below to change your password:

  • Sign in to my.indiamart.com
  • Click on 'Settings' icon
  • Enter your 'Current Password'
  • Enter and re-enter your new password
  • Click on change password


I want to modify my registered information.

To modify your registered member information (i.e. registered company name, email address, etc.) please follow below steps:

  • Sign in to my.indiamart.com
  • Click on 'Update Profile'
  • Edit registered information
  • Click on 'Submit'


Why am I not being able to sign in?

  • Make sure you entered correct username and password
  • Incase, you do not remember your username/password, follow the steps given under 'I forgot my username/password. How do I retrieve it?'


What can I do about a cookie error?

If a cookie error occurs, you can take the following steps to resolve it:

Internet Explorer 6.0
  • Click on 'Tool/Internet Options'
  • Click on 'Delete Cookies' & 'Delete Files'
  • Click on 'Security' and set as 'Default'
  • Click on 'Privacy' and set as 'Medium'

Internet Explorer 5
  • Click on 'Tool/Internet Options'
  • Click on 'Security'
  • Click on 'Internet zone'
  • Select a security level other than 'High' or click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll to 'Cookies' and then click on 'Enable' for both cookie options

Internet Explorer 4.x
  • Click on 'View' and then on 'Internet Options'
  • Click on 'Advanced'
  • Scroll to 'Security' under 'Cookies'
  • Click on 'Always accept cookies'

Netscape Communicator 4.X
  • Click on 'Edit' and then 'Preferences'
  • Click on 'Advanced'
  • Select 'Accept All Cookies'

If you are still unable to resolve this problem, please locate the directory where your system is installed. For e.g., 'C: Windows'>Go to the sub-directory 'Cookies' > 'Temporary Internet Files'>Delete all files named 'Cookies'

Please reset your computer once you have finished.



Why my account is disabled/de-activated?

Your account may be disabled/de-activated in the following cases:

  • If you have violated any terms and conditions
  • If you have sent un-solicited responses or enquiries to other members
To re-activate your account or any further help on the matter, please contact us at info@indiamart.com


Why should I sign out?

To keep confidentiality of the account, it is recommended that the user signs out from the account once the work is done on the site.
