About UsBy 2002, he successfully completed the course of pattern making and cutting at Zarapkars and further fine tuned his talent at NIFT Mumbai, where he specialized in Fashion Technology. At an young age of 26, he formed his own company “And & And”, to give vision to his dream.
Even as a fresher in the industry, Hemal stepped out of the woodwork and started designing a new range of product stories, catering to prêt lines and mass production for export & fashion houses.
His range of designs varied from western to Indo westerns and couture wear, with a special emphasis on the use of traditional embroidery in a contemporary context. By 2006, And & And opened its very first quintessential production unit at Tardeo Mumbai with a small team of highly motivated individuals. With an eye for details and sensitivity towards the desires and aspirations of the mass market, And & And booked their first mass production order for Pantaloons Mumbai.
Today, And & And produces and supplies eight to ten thousand pieces per month from their state of the art production unit at Lower Parel, Mumbai, catering to reputed clients such as Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Sakshi Clothing Mumbai, Kimera Bangalore, Bharat Furnishing Mumbai/Ahmadabad, Queen Annes Label Pune and many more. |
