The erroneous use of the spring balancers can cause damage to the operating tools or products and the manpower. To prevent these accidents, the following instructions should be explicitly followed for the proper use of the balancers :

• Install the balancer correctly
• Always attach a secondary support cable or chain
• Never stand under the suspended tool / device
• Never remove tool/device while the hose is extended
• Never pull the hose when unloaded
• Never remove the spring from the spring case
• Lock the spindle using the ratchet at every 1/4 turn when adjusting the spring tension
• Never alter the balancer
• Periodically inspect the balancer
