Established in 1962 as a manufacturer- supplier of basic drugs, fine and pharmaceutical chemicals, Heni Group of Companies has expanded to become an internationally acclaimed and renowned manufacturer and exporter of a spectrum of chemicals including fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, basic drugs, bulk drugs, pharmaceutical drugs and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Based on our expertise in product synthesis, process development and our control over the entire supply chain, we bring to you high quality drugs (basic and new), chemicals (specialty and fine chemicals), bulk drugs, active pharmaceutical ingredients and a host of other related products, at extremely competitive prices. We are currently having three offshoots, all with well their defined product, processes and structure.

In 1963, established as a SSI unit and registered with the F.D.A, our first company, Heni Chemical Industries started the production (after a trial production for two years) of basic drugs, with a goal of increasing the reach of the mases and common public, to quality heath care solutions in developing nations like India. We had a humble beginning, by providing drugs for various tropical diseases (like diarrhea, amoebic dysentery, gastroenteritis etc) and bacterial diseases (like T.B. and Leprosy). Our quality products and justified prices earned us the reputation of being a high profile manufacturer and brought in export orders, which were executed repeatedly with success ( for instance, as against our export of 300 KG of Phenolphthalein in1970, the export figure stood at more than 25 tons in 2002).

In 1995, we started manufacturing newer drugs, specialty chemicals and intermediates for the pharmaceutical industries, in our newly established company "Heni Drugs Pvt Ltd " (registered with directorate of industries as an S.S.I unit).

As the demand for the products manufactured by Heni Chemical Industries and Heni Drugs Private Limited grew, Heni Exports was established in 1997, as an exclusive exports firm, to handle the exports of all the products manufactured by the two sister concerns and hence cater to the requirements of foreign buyers. This company is also registered with F.D.A as well as with "Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council," Mumbai (CHEMEXIL).

Our well-trained technical staff, fully equipped R & D and QC labs, expertise in broad range of chemical technologies and production capability for bulk orders at short notice, have all made us a truly global high quality organization

Infrastructure:
Our manufacturing facilities include glass lined reactors, M.S reactors, S.S reactors, sparkler filter, vacuum pumps, hydro extractors, cooling plant, boiler, driers, pulverizers, mixers. We have two different chemical plants to carry out specialized production. One plant is in Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane and the second in TTC Industrial Area, Thane (Navi Mumbai, India). Both our plants meets the requirements of F.D.A guidelines.

Empowered Work Force:
We have a perfect balance of technical expertise and skilled workforce. The production activity is carried out under the vigilance of competent people, specializing in the different fields of operation.

Strict adherence to quality norms of production and packaging:
All the processes are developed and tested in company's own R&D laboratories, under the expert guidance of technocrats. All the products are packed for final delivery, only after their testing and approval in sea- worthy fibre drums. The containers carry labeling as required by international transport regulations.
