Henkel India’s flagship detergent brand Henko Stain Champion Henko bar was recently adjudged as the No. 1 detergent bar by a government affiliated consumer magazine. In the spirit of celebration, Henko Bar has announced the Gold n Shine offer to reward the loyal consumer and incentivise new users to experience the best bar in the country. Under the promotion, consumers got an assured offer on the purchase of a Henko bar; a chance to win gold jewelry on a daily basis and feature in the radio/print campaign for the brand. Consumers could participate in the contest by answering the question displayed on the inner side of the packaging and sending HENKO (answer option) via SMS to 57007.

The Gold n Shine offer was valid through May 2010. The new Henko gold bar was available at no extra cost to the consumer at all leading provision stores. Further famous Bollywood / Hollywood actor Irrfan Khan has been be seen endorsing the promotion on various mediums of advertisement.
