About UsThe new millennium 2000 commenced on an eventful note. It saw the birth of Hettich India Pvt Ltd having its headquarters at New Delhi. Subsequently the Head Office was shifted to the commercial hub and most happening city of India--Mumbai.
Presently the business operations have spread across the country with 3 zonal offices which comprise of six regions and 5 application centres: Mumbai, Kolkatta, Delhi, Gurgaon and Bangalore.
With a professional team of people catering to every customer segment Hettich has become a number one brand and a trusted name in the furniture fitting industry in India. Having a range of over 10000 components Hettich is the only brand in India, which offers products for all the three segments- Kitchen & Bath, Residential and Office.
Hettich India also controls business operations in other SAARC countries- Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan.
In the best tradition, our history goes back to an inventor, Karl Hettich, who found a better way of making parts for cuckoo clocks and set up a small company in the Black Forest in 1888. In 1930, the next generation took the enterprising decision to set up a new company in east Westphalia, even then a centre of furniture manufacturing in Germany. Since 1966, company headquarters have been in Kirchlengern. Today the company is again wholly owned by the Hettich family.
As Hettich International, the company has evolved into a diversified company group operating chiefly in the furniture sector. Hallmarks of the Hettich brand are quality, innovation and customer orientation.
The Hettich Group employs around 5500 people worldwide and generates annual turnover of over 700 million euros. Our customers are furniture manufacturers, artisan producers, fittings dealers and DIY and home improvement stores. Our production facilities are located in North and South America, Europe and Asia. With 36 subsidiaries and partner agencies, Hettich is close to its customers in more than 100 countries around the world.

Happenings / News / Press CoverageAt IIDEX/NeoCon, Canada's largest exposition and conference for the design, construction and management of the built environment taking place at Toronto in September 2008, the Innovation Award went to Hettichs "easys" electrical drawer-opening system. The Award honours outstanding product design, with functionality and innovation being pivotal criteria. At this years show, the judges singled out a total of 53 products as demonstrating excellence in creativity.
Spanning across Canadas esteemed design community, 24 judges deliberated on the numerous products entered for the Award before selecting a total of 53 winners. The "easys" electric opening system for drawers was one of them, making this a further coveted accolade alongside the 'red dot award: product design 2008' already earned by easys for furniture doors.
The Innovation Awards are run by the Interior Designers of Canada and Merchandise Mart Properties (Canada) Inc., managers of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. The Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) is initiator and owner of the annual autumn design tradeshow.
