About Us
In the year 1868, Fritz & Albert Huguenin, two brothers, opened up a small workshop, specialized craftsmen in the art of decorating watchcases.
In 1955 the Company began to manufacture high quality stamped medals and in 1968 changed the name to reflect the new direction, to Huguenin Medailleurs S.A.
In 1992 Huguenin made and launched minted gold coins with a color imprint, a first worldwide.
In parallel, Paul Faude started a separate venture in 1961, focusing on photo-etching technology, to manufacture medallions and awards in brass with quality designs, painting, finishes, etc.
In 2002, the two entities merged, giving birth to our Swiss parent company, Faude & Huguenin SA.
In 2006, Faude & Huguenin established HF MetalArt Pvt Ltd in Jaipur, India. With sophisticated Swiss and German machinery, the Company set a new milestone with the first and only high-technology, private mint in India.
