HGS (India) Ltd, a part of the Sowar group, was established in 1986 in technical collaboration with SENSOR Nederlands. Over the years, HGS has through indigenisation and total quality management, been able to provide quality products at affordable prices.

HGS is the holder of the CNBC TV 18 Emerging India Award for engineering in 2009.
