About UsHimalaya Herb Stores came into existence in 1957 when the founder of company Mr. S.R.GUPTA changed its name from S.R.Gupta & Co. which was established in 1942.
The firm is made well known in India by sincere dedication and efforts of Mr. S.R.Gupta. He had spent lot of nights sleepless to make the quality herbs available at reasonable prices especially to Homoeopathic & Ayurvedic medicines manufacturers .We also exported herbs to overseas leading manufacturers up to 1973. We had again commenced import and export of herbs in 2004.
Over the years, with its capabilities and quality level in cultivation, collection , processing and storing of medicinal herbs the firm has created its good image especially in Ayurvedic & Homoeopathic Industry.
We are able to supply quality at very reasonable prices because we are at origin of herbs as we ourselves are cultivators of herbs and sometimes we are having contract cultivation which reduces cost involved in middlemen. This enable us to price our herbs reasonably low considering quality we produce.
The firm is now laying emphasis on being part of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) by testing the samples of Herbs it collects by expert botanist and are engaged in research , resulting in discovery of many important Herbs in India. We have discovered many herbs in India which are currently under testing and we expect them to offer soon as we are satisfied for its authenticity.
Now under the Directorship of Mr. Vinod Kumar Gupta who is assisted by his sons Mr. Manish Kumar Gupta who is an MBA (Marketing) and Mr. Ashish Kumar Gupta who is B.Pharma, the firm is making its presence felt in overseas market

Quality Policy / Processes
For HIMALAYA HERB STORES, Quality is no compromise that's why we are very strict in cultivation, collection, processing and storing of herbs.
We are committed towards standardization of herbs so that we can become a part of GMP (GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES).
Our experience of more than 50 years along with our team of experts and qualified persons adds to our value which enable us to produce quality herbs.
The herb is cultivated and collected from their respective geographic region where they are found favourably. For this purpose either we cultivate at our own farmland or through contract farming and if they are found wild, we are having trained manpower who are aware of the conditions in which herbs are found naturally.
They are then dried in shade, cleaned, tested and stored in godowns in good hygienic conditions free of pest. On time of delivery they are again cleaned manually , inspected and packed in sound gunny bags for delivery.
That's why our herbs are appreciated for their quality and genuiness by almost all the leading manufacturers of Herbal Medicines in India and other Asian countries.
