The main plant of Himalaya Machinery Pvt Ltd. is located on approximately 4 acres (16000 sq. Meters) of prime industrial land in Vadodara. Earlier known as Baroda, this city is well known as a cultural center and the capital of the erstwhile King Gaekwads state.
The G.I.D.C. Industrial area, Makarpura, where the plant is located, is approx. 8 kms from the airport and city railway station. There is a ready availability of infrastructure like transport, raw materials, skilled workforce, communications etc. This is primarily an engineering zone that supplies components, machinery, equipment etc. to some of the major industrial units in the country. Himalaya has been able to develop a number of good suppliers. The production blocks have various special purpose machines, gear generators, turning, grinding, drilling and boring machines, CNC machine tools, and fabrication equipment.
