Current Transformer We manufacture a wide range of electrical current transformers that is as per quality norms of IS 2705. Our tape insulated low tension electrical current transformers are available in the metering of 1P10, 5P10 and 10P10 in following types: - Bar Primary Type (BPL)
- Wire Primary Type (WPL)
- Epoxy Type
The current transformers are classified as: - Ring type: It has an opening in the center to accommodate a primary conductor through it. A conductor could be a busbar or cable.
- Bar-Primary type: The primary winding in this type of current transformer consists bar of suitable size and, material forming an integral part.
- Wound type: It has a primary winding of more than one full turn wound on the core.
Among above mentioned types, ring type or rectangular type current transformers are preferred over other types. Ring type current transformers are simple in construction, mechanically stronger and cheaper. We manufacture our electrical current transformers in ring type and rectangular type or in customized type as per the requirements with secondary 5A, 1A to suit in different panels. Our electrical current transformers are used in following applications: - To reduce line current to a value that is suitable for standard measuring instruments and relays
- To isolate the measuring instruments, meters and relays from line voltage of an installation

Field Faliure Relay Hind asia industries manufactures designs and manufactures field failure relay. This mostly known as field loss relay. It is used to protect dc shunt wound motor or main circuit. Field failure relay operates on current. There is no magnetic storage because there is no iron core. The actuating time is less than 1.2 milliseconds. Field failure relay can also be used as dc clutches, solenoids and brakes. This is highly reliable and provides excellent service. Field failure relay, also known as field loss relay protects the DC Shunt wound motor or main circuit, under open field conditions, or in the absence of the field supply Speed of the Shunt Wound DC Motor increases as the field supply is weakened Theoretically motor runs at infinite speed if run without field supply. This break opens the armature coils from the commutator and totally damages the prime mover. The field failure relay when used in series with the field circuit, ensures that no power is supplied to the armature unless field circuit is complete. Field failure relay is a truly current operated device. As there is no iron core, there is no magnetic storage and actuating time is less than 1.2 milliseconds.
