(Polyglactin 910)

HINGLACT (polyglactin 910) suture is a braided synthetic absorbable material, a surgical suture composed of 90 % glycolide and 10% L-lactide. At 28 days around 15% tensile strength is retained by polyglactin material. Polyactin 910 has found to be nonantigenic.

(Monofilament Polyglecprone 25)

Polyglecaprone-25 is monofilament suture material; a copolymer of glycolide and e-caprolactone is recent entrant in suture market. Polyglecaprone-25 is absorbable by hydrolysis in period of 91-120 days. It presents excellent strength, reduced memory and large malleability. It is a synthetic suture and because of its favorable characteristics can be used not only deeply in tissues, but also in superficial tissues of oral mucosa and gastro intestinal areas.

HINSURG is the range of monofilament polypropylene sutures. They are available as eyeless needled sutures. Imported polypropylene is used in the manufacture of the HINSURG range. These synthetic non absorbable sutures are an inert variety and therefore causes minimum tissue reaction. The tensile strength of the suture is retained for a long period of time, allowing for use where tissue approximation for extended periods is required

HISIL is the range of natural non-absorbable black braided silk sutures. The Range consists of eyeless needled sutures. The HISIL range is manufactured from imported silk. The individual filaments of silk are specially braided to allow ease of handling, uniform diameter and surface smoothness. The silk is processed so as to ensure excellent knotting with a high degree of knot security.

(Monofilament Polydioxanone)

Polydioxanone (PDO or PDS ) or Poly-p-dioxanone is a colorless, crystalline biodegradable copolymer that used for biomedical applications, particularly in the preparation of sutures. HIDOX is ideal for fascia closure where a long lasting absorbable suture is preferred. This suture is appropriate for a prolonged absorption period (180-210 days).
