Automatic Lubrication System

Automatic Lubrication System
We offer automatic lubrication system. These motorised lubrication units are single/three phase electrically operated. These automatic lubrication system units are designed to run intermittently and best suited for single shot lubrication. These units are provided with electric motor, reservoir (3 ltrs. To 100 Itrs.) oil filler, suction strainer, pressure switch, pressure relife valve, bleed valve etc. During on time (normally 5 sec.) of electric motor, pump coupled with the motor discharge oil under pressure, immediately after unit is switched off, oil pressure is brought down to approx. 1 Kg/cm2 with the help of pressure reducing valve. Float switch is incorporated in the reservoir is meant for sensing oil level becomes critical may be used as warning for topping up the resevoir with oil. For mounting this automatic lubrication system unit on machine, four holes are provided on the back side of the unit.

WORKING


The pump is driven by a motor which is coupled to a reduction gear box of 70:1 ratio through a flexible coupling. On the driven shaft for cams duly hardened and ground are mounted which drives spring loaded high pressure pumping elements. The pumping elements are positioned in a housing and on the top of it a reservoir is mounted. Pumping element pumps grease at high pressure to the electrically operated reversing valve through seamless tube and various junction blocks. A pressure relief / regulating valve is incorporated in the line to relieve the excess grease pressure to the tank and required pressure can also be maintained with the help of external knob.


IN LINE GREASE FILTER


In order to ensure the delivery of grease free from any foreign particles, inlinefilterin each grease line is put after the change over valve. The design of the filter is such that it can be easily dismantled for cleaning. The cartridge of the filter is of stainless steel with a steel mesh of 160 micron rating. The_pressure filter is of 250 kg/cm sq. -

 
 

Dose Feeder

Dose Feeder
Dose feeder is a block which has-two inputs to be connected with dual line coming from the lubrication pump. Depending upon the requirement there are different versions of dose feeders with varying no. of outlets. Dose Feeder is normally in vicinity of lubrication points, which are to be greased. Discharge quantity can be adjusted with grub screw provided in indicator assembly & functioning of each lubrication point can be seen by the movement of indicator.

END PRESSURE RELAY


  • It consists of steel block having two ports where primary tube of dual line is tightened,

  • There are also two pressure switches & 2 pressure gauge fitted on the block (one pressure switch & one pressure gauge for each line). We can set required pressure by adjusting screw, provided in pressure switch & visually we can check in pressure gauge.

  • This senses the end pressure of lined & gives signal when pressure reaches the set valve

ELECTRIC CONTROL PANEL

The control panel has been provided for operation & control of the Dual Line Grease Lubrication System . The control Panel box is fabricated out of 2 mm thick, sheet & having over all dimensions as 600 x 400 x 175. All necessary contractors, timers, fuses, relays etc. are mounted on a removable plate, which is fitted inside the control panel box & can be taken out if required for any rectification / repair work. It can be mounted on any vertical surface. The controls / indications provided on the front panel are;

Dual Line Lubrication System

Dual Line Lubrication System
Dual line lubrication system is a centralised lubrication system in which grease/oil is fed to lubrication points in measured quantity through Dose Feeders from, a common source. In the system there are two main grease/oil lines which work alternatively. The whole system can be comprises as:

  • Motorised Grease Pump Statio
  • Inline Filters
  • Dose Feeders
  • End Pressure Relay
  • Tubing and Fittings
  • Electric Control Panel


Motorised Grease Pump delivers grease/oil at high pressure to Dose Feeders through in line grease/oil Filters and after the farthest Dose Feeder from the pumping station an end relay is provided. The whole system is commanded by control panel. The pumping station is connected to points through Filters, direction control valve, Dose Feeders etc. When pump will start grease/oil will flow in one of the two lines through direction control valve to the dose feeders and will lubricate the points by feeding set dose. Then pressure will rise and when it will cross the set pressure of end pressure relay. The relay will give signal to control panel and in turn it will give signal to direction control valve of pumping station and grease will start flowing through second line. Now again one dose of grease shall be discharged to lube points and then again pressure will rise to cross the set point of end pressure relay, End relay will give signal to panel to stop pump. In this way one cycle shall be completed.

We offer grease  lubrication system. This pump is meant for feding greese to bearings and other moving parts of the machine.When the handle is pulled or operated through pneumatic cylinder grease is sucked through suction port.While pushing handle, the greese comes out under pressure through a check valve and is supplied to the greese pipelines through progressive block for positive distribution or with the help of manifold blocks.he pump has reservoir 1.5 kg.Which can be either acrylic or mild steel (as per the customer requirements).A tell tale rod indicate the level of greese filling in the reservoir, can be done manually or by another pump.A 1/4" port is provided on the right hand side of pump.Pump has got outlet port 1/4" BSP on both sides.

Out put pressure is 100 kg /cm sq.Discharge of grease is 6cc to 10cc per sq.

Meter doser are meant to eject metered amount of oil to the lubrication points. One meteirng dosers is require on one lubrication points.

The meter doser is a kind of cylinder with a check valve, operates as soon as pressure build in lubrication line, get recharged for next cycle as soon as pressure in lubrication line drops.

Maximum permissible pressure of meter doser is 40 Kg/cm2 minimum working pressure is 8Kg/cm2 and pressure shall drop to less than 1Kg/cm2.

FUNCTIONING:-
HI-TECH Multiline radial lubricator is a device to deliver predetermined amount of oil/grease from different plungers at high pressure to the lubrication point independently. Multiline radial lubricator is a single pumping station having a no. Of pump element assemblies placed radically. These Pump elements are actuated by a cam, which is rotated by a speed reduction drive coupled to an electric motor. The dose of oil/grease can be adjust by the pumping elements.The dose can also be adjusted by an adjusting screw provided in each pump element.A maximum 38 pump elements can be fitted into the housing which is used to lubricate the points independently. The capacity of reservoir can be from 1.5 kg to 100 kg. It is provided with a reflector plate, which continuously stirs the grease during rotation of cam. For filling grease in to reservoir,a port in the housing is provided. The system is meant for continuously running. However, these types of lubricators rim intermittently through controller.

In Lubrication Systems there are two types of systems:

(i) Total loss type Lubrication System
(ii) Oil Circulatory System

In first type of system total oil is get consumed and it can not be recyclable second type of systems the oil supplied to various parts is returned to reservoir oil acts both as a lubricant and coolent. These type of systems are large having capacity of hundreds liters to thousand of liters.

These systems are measured in LPM. These systems may be 10 LPM to 2000 LPM. These systems are used in steel plants, sugar plants, cement plants, power plants and for heavy machinery etc.

The oil circulatory system has following major parts:

 
OIL RESERVOIR
  • Oil tank is of sheet may be of MS or SS.
  • The size of the tank depends upon the LPM of the system.
  • Generally the oil tank capacity is 10-15 times the LPM of the system.
  • The tank provided with Oil level gauges,Oil filters,Suction strainer,Reliesf valves,Control valves.High & low level switches and heater is provided if systems requires.
MOTOR
  • AC/DC motors are provided having 3 Phase,415 V, 4 Pole TEFC with class 'A' insulator.Special motors of 110 /220 Volts ca also be provided as per requirement of the system.
  • Pressure relief valve is used for the safety of system.In case of over pressure due to line chocking,it releases the oil to the tank.The size of relief valve depends upon flow rate, Viscosity of oil.
  • The system reliablity depends upon the quality of pump.The type of pump depends upon the system requirement. Generally gear type pump or Screw pumps are used for OCS.Centrifugal pumps are used where pressure is low.
HEAT EXCHANGER
  • Heat exchanger are used to cool the return oil .Due to moving parts oil gets hot and to bring the oil within safe operating limits. Size of heat exchanger depends upon systems size and cofiguration. Both shell & tube type and Plate type can be used in OCS.
  • Different type of valves are used in OCS i.e Gate valve,Check va!ve,Ball valve etc.For high pressure systems valves of class 300 & class 600 are used.
FILTERS
  • Filters has important role to run the system trouble free. The filters are used both in supply line & return line. Filter may be of basket type or rotary type. The filtration level of filters depends upon the viscosity of the oil. Normaly filters are from 100 The piping & fittings are used to connect the various parts of the system. The size of the piping & fittings depends upon pressure of the system,flow rate and viscosity of oil. Rubber hoses are also used to make flexible connection.

FLOW SWITCHES /METERS
  • The flow meter are used to find out the quantity of oil flowing in pipeline. These may be Rotometer type or turbine type. The flowmeter may be with flow switches preset at particular flor rate.

ACCAMULATOR
  • In case Power failure to protect the moving parts accamulator is used. When due to power failure lubrication systems stops the accamulator starts supplying the oil to moving parts upto a particular time.

is pneumatically operated system.The air is fed to the system through
ON-OFF solenoid valve. The oil is kept in the acrylic rcservoir.The
oil forced out the cylinder is checked by Solenoid valve.The oil
filling port is at the top of the reservoir, whereas the mist outlet
port and air inlet port are provided on the side surface of the
system. The air pressure required is 4 to 6 kg/cm2.

Progressive Block

Progressive Block
We offer progressive block. It is a block which is having one inlet port and number of outlet ports. The function of block is to divide the metered amount of grease to each outlet port. This is done by the number of plunger pins moving to and fro in controlled bores in the block. By having the input grease pressure, the first plunger pin moves one side ejecting out controlled amount of grease and simultaneously opens out the passage for input grease to flow into the second bore. Similarly second pin moves to one side ejecting meteres amount of grease from second port, opening the passage for grease for 3rd bore. Likewise similar phenomenon occurs for the 3rd, 4th and subsequent bores.

The progressive block are having different sizes according to thier outlet ports i.e from 4 to 20. The block can be choosed as per nos. of Lubrication Points in the machine. Every point is connected directly to lubrication point.The discharge / stroke is 0.4gms.
