Compression Springs

We offer compression springs to our clients. These compression springs are an open-coil helical spring, which gives resistance to axial compressive force. Our helical compression springs are extensively used to store energy in a push mode or to resist applied compression forces.

These compression springs are widely demanded in industries such as aerospace and automotive. These compression springs are a straight cylindrical spring made with round wire and have most general configuration. We manufacture compression springs in a variety of shapes, types and in specific options and these are available in a range of 0.5 mm to 70 mm rod diameter.
Conical Springs

With the help of our advanced manufacturing facility, we manufacture conical springs and volute springs. The capacity and the stress turn is in very large degree upon the spacing of the coils that, it is difficult to find formula for volute and conical springs. The matter is more complicated by the thinning of the material at each end of the spring, especially in volutes, in order to achieve an approximation to a spiral in plan to give a reasonably circular base and a circular hole. The true volute is made from flat section steel.

We manufacture conical compression springs to our clients. These conoical compression springs are cone shaped compression springs and are designed to provide a near constant spring rate and a solid height lower than a normal spring.

Each conical compression springs have the feature of variable pitch to attain the constant spring rate and coils, which nest during deflection to provide a solid height approximately equal to two wire diameters.

Conical compression springs are often specified where the large end is meant to work in a bore and the small end is meant to work over a rod. They offer the benefit of a reduced solid height compared to straight compression springs, especially when capable of "telescoping."

The hooks are designed in such a way to give extended life as compared to standard extension springs of similar dimension. The hooks have free movement to rotate to assure alignment.

Conical end reduced extension springs or conical extension springs are manufactured by coiling two, three or probably four coils gradually smaller in diameter and then forming the hook on the smallest reduced coil. The hook may be a regular hook, a crossover hook, or a half hooks to suite the requirements. This method is the easiest way to diminish the hook stresses and retard breakage. The reason for longer life is that the bending moment is lessened; thereby reducing the stress and making the hook last longer. Conical extension end need a method of attachment to other parts in an assembly. A wide variety of ends are available for a conical extension spring including swivel hooks, threaded insert, twist loops, side loops, cross-center and extension hooks. The most general configurations can be made during the manufacture of conical extension spring.

These helical torsion springs are used to store rational energy or to apply torque and are commonly referred to as torsion or double torsion. Torque is a force that makes rotation. A torsion spring applies a force (torque) in a circular arc, and the arms rotate about the central axis. The stress is in bending, not in torsion. It is usual to specify torque with deflection or with the arms at a definite position. Formulas for torque are in pound-inches or inches-pounds. If ounce-inches are specified the value should be divided by 16 to use the formulas in the inch-pound system.

When a force is specified at a distance from a centerline, or the torque, the distance is known as moment, which is equal to the force, multiplied by the distance. Force can be in pounds or ounces with the distance in inches or the force can be in meters with the distance in millimeters
