About UsEstablished in 1991 to promote and develop alternative medicines and popularize the concept of holistic health and healing, the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines has grown to be the largest and most renowned organization of its kind in India and internationally. Registered under Act XXVI of 1961 of Government of West Bengal, based on the Central Government Act XXI of 1860, Literary & Scientific Institutions Act, 1854, the Board is also affiliated to numerous leading organizations in the field of traditional and complementary medicines including the International Association of Educators for World Peace (Consultative Status with United Nations, ECOSOC, UNICEF and UNESCO).
The Board is privileged to have as its Honorary Patrons, a number of distinguished and eminent persons from all walks of life including jurists, governors, unions and state level ministers, parliamentarians and intellectuals. It is blessed with the services of an Advisory Panel consisting of experienced and reputed doctors and practitioners from all over the World. |

The Board boasts of a vast and comprehensive library of which there are two wings - The Reading Wing and the Reference Wing. Both wings offer a selection of materials
that are aimed at further expanding the knowledge of the students and heightening their understanding of the philosophy and principles of holistic healing and health care.
HOSTEL
Boarding and lodging is arranged for overseas and outstation students by the institute at conveniently located hostels / guest houses equipped with modem facilities and amenities to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for the students.
CLINIC
The Board has its own treatment centre equipped with state of the art alternative medical equipment and facilities. The centre is run by a team of dedicated and experienced practitioners who provide the best possible treatment for various ailments through holistic and natural means of healing.
The centre is visited by patients from far and wide whose numbers increase by the day as satisfied patients spread the word of this unique place where health and well being is but an affordable visit away.
