About UsThe ideal group has developed a firm footing in the business arena conformed by ventures in real estate, automobile dealership, logistics and minerals with offices at kolkata, jamshedpur, muzaffarpur, surat, dahej, gandhidham, udaipur, wani, nagpur, chennai, vijaywada, wardha and mumbai & many other cities.
In the initial years few partnership firms were formed in the brand name of ideal and were subsequently converted into private limited companies. The year 1992-93 witnessed major reconstruction in the group companies with various companies merging under a single umbrella.
The journey started with (i) 3 industrious minded souls, with zeal to perform, and since then much water has passed under the bridge.
Today we employ more than 1500 people, (ii) a small humble office has meandered to several modern offices across the country (iii) from a construction of 1,00,000 sq ft it has now rocketed to 8,00,000 sq. Ft. , (iv) from a mere annual turn over of rs. 3. 00 lacs we have crossed rs. 5000 millions, (v) presently we own a fleet of more than 500 trailers, (vi) the hire purchase business, now diversified into various core activities, real estate, logistics, dealership of commercial vehicles, mining and supply of minerals etc.
on The 27th of April 1982, sri s. K. Himatsingka, the ideal man behind the ideal group, a degree chemical engineer from bits, pilani galloped on his own to build the empire.
mr. Tirthraj himatsingka, an MBA, with his untiring efforts and unconditional support have contributed greatly in making ideal what it is today.

AchievementsOur achievements till date are the following projects which we have completed:
Ideal Plaza: A commercial project of 130000 sq.ft. completed in 1995 and situated at 11/1, Sarat Bose Road,
Kolkata - 700 020.
Ideal Towers: A residential project of 330000 sq.ft. consisting of three blocks (216 Flats), of which one block comprising 96 Flats was completed in 1999 & the other two blocks in 2005, is situated at 57, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata – 700 023.
Ideal Apartments: A residential project of 126000 sq.ft. consisting of two blocks (84 Flats) of which one block comprising of 42 Flats was completed in 2000 and another by 2004 is situated at 152, Raja Rajendra Lal Mitra Road, Kolkata – 700 010.
Ideal Gardens: A super delux residential project of 60000 sq.ft. consisting of 20 Flats completed in 2003 is situated at 20, Mandeville Gardens, Kolkata – 700 019.
Ideal Point: A commercial project of 50000 sq.ft. completed in 1998 is situated at 81, Netaji Subhas Road,
Kolkata – 700 001.
Ideal residency: A super delux residential project of 96540 sq.ft. consisting of 65 Flats completed in 2004 is situated at 179A/1A Manicktala Main Road. Kolkata- 700 054.
