It has been promoted by Mr Vivek Ballal - An entrepreneur with an experience of over 20 years in the field of manufacturing. He has promoted and runs highly successful business ventures in machine tools, plastic stationary, plastic cards. He is supported by a dedicated management and production team. Mr Ballal has been a pioneer in various products which has been introduced into India and believes that we as Indians have a capacity to manufacture and produce quality products at prices affordable to us Indians. One of the most successful products that was introduced by him in India was the custom printed lanyards and card holders. This is now a product which is common to all IT companies and any company that has ID cards displayed by the employees.We are undoutdly the pioneer in Smart Card manufacturer in India.
The inspiration for the formation of ID Smart was to cater to module suppliers and System Integrators, for their pilot projects at affordable rates and faster turnaround time.
And for which ID Smart has come with some basic inherent strengths that help it to succeed in these highly competitive times. For we have positioned ourselves as a company that can cater to this segment with quality, pricing and delivery, at par with the rest of the world.
This in a nutshell means that we can print, mill, embed, personalize and deliver any quantity, anytime, anywhere, thus reducing cost and time overruns for our customers.
We would be one of the only company globally in Smart card manufacturing in India who have done a complete back ward integration starting from a humble manufacturer of Lanyards and Card Holders (we are the pioneers of this product in India), then moving on to making Identity Cards, Loyalty ATM cards in India for our Corporate Clients and then setting up a state of the art plastic card manufacturing facility and then setting up another state of the art smart card manufacturing facility.

We have a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Bangalore, India. Our manufacturing unit is built over a large area, wherein we have all the requisite facilities for the effective production of Smart Cards, Plastic Cards, ID Cards, and Card Accessories like Lanyards, Card Holders, Retractors. With the use of latest technology and sophisticated machines, we have been able to develop our range as per the industry standard. In addition to this, we have in-house design unit that that assist us in designing of our products at our own manufacturing premises.

Our Facilities
Our current facility which is ISO 9001:2000 certified is situated in the heart of the city occupying about 5000 sq. feet of prime property.
This is currently a rented property and we will be moving to our own factory shortly as indicated in the company road map above
