About Us

The Institute for Customer Relationship Management (iCRM) is committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of customer relationship management and other customer-focused approaches. Its strong intellectual base includes a global network of thought leaders, practicing academic consultants, and professionals drawn from Asia, Europe and the Americas. Headquartered in Atlanta, USA, iCRM also has offices in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the UK.


The primary activities of iCRM include Consulting, Research, Training, Technology and Knowledge Process Operations. Our methods are rigorous and we develop relevant strategies for meaningful results. Researchers at iCRM are involved in sponsored research projects to develop new conceptualizations, methodologies, models, practice frameworks, and industry-oriented best practice reports. In addition to hosting international research and best practices conference on CRM, we manage a collaborative Research Forum on Global Customer Management (GCM) jointly with the Center for Business and Industrial Marketing (CBIM) of Georgia State University.


Several industry associations, such as Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), Foodservice Sales and Marketing Association (FSMA) have engaged iCRM to conduct industry-defining studies in marketing, sales and CRM. Additionally, iCRM leads a biennial Retail Summit on Best Practices Forum on Post-Audit Recovery in USA wherein participants are senior executives from well-known retail and CPG companies whose combined annual revenues exceed 1 trillion USD.


iCRM Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia has also been accorded the prestigious MSC Status for the pioneering work in developing various IT products and solutions. In Malaysia, iCRM partners with a leading advertising agency, DRAFTFCB an IPG company for developing strategic marketing plans and creative communication execution. iCRM and DRAFTFCB also undertake digital advertising for some of the most prominent companies in Malaysia. We are also partnering with Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, USA to offer executive development programs and set-up a business school in Malaysia. In this educational initiative, iCRM brings its knowledge and thought leadership into action by helping build a strong professional program and support it with relevant research and experiential learning

2-Day Management Development program on "Managing Customers for Profit". This Executive workshop was held on July 27-28, 2009 in Saujana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia.
The TiE Asia Pacific Conference 2009 was held in Kuala Lumpur from 2nd to 4th July. Being a pioneer member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), iCRM had a remarkable presence in the event and introduced the latest version of its digital signage content management software SurePlayTM, which impressed the conference participants and visitors.

AIMST, XLRI & iCRM Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony on Tuesday, 13th March 2007, 3.00PM at MIC Head Office - Netaji Hall, Kuala Lumpur.  
NARMS to feature iCRM reserach on the Value of Outsourcing Sales and Marketing in the CPG industry at the annual NARMS meeting conference and exhibition in Tucson Arizona on April 14- 17, 2007. iCRM President and CEO Atul Parvatiyar, Ph.D., will present the report on Value of Outsourcing Sales and Marketing in the CPG industry conducted jointly with Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and Center for Business and Industrial Marketing, Georgia State University.  
Foodservice Sales and Marketing Association (FSMA) releases the research report on Value of Outsourcing Sales and Marketing in the Foodservice Industry at their annual 2007 Top2Top meeting in Palm Springs, California on february 21-23, 2007. iCRM conducted this study in collaboration with FSMA. The 3rd Retail Summit & Post-Audit Best Practices Forum, held October 26-27, 2006 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas brought together retailers and vendors for enlightened discussion and workshops. The theme of the Forum was, "A Call to Action: Implementing Best Practices in Post-Audit Recovery".  
iCRM President and CEO Atul Parvatiyar, Ph.D., presented the final report on Value of Outsourcing Sales and Marketing at Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA) Merchandising, Sales and Marketing (MSM) meeting in West Palm Beach, September 25-27, 2006.  
iCRM Malaysia granted Pioneer MSC Status by the Multimedia Super Corridor division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Malaysia for software products and CRM knowledge process center.  
Foodservice Sales and Marketing Association (FSMA) spotlighted iCRM research on Value of Outsourcing Sales and Marketing at 2006 Top2Top Conference.
