About UsIndia Engineering Works (IEW) was established in the year of 1970 at Shivaji Udyam Nagar, Kolhapur for manufacturing of Shock Absorbers. IEW started development and manufacturing Shock Absorbers for Suvega Luna, Moped India, Laxmi and Tansi.
In 1976 IEW expanded their manufacturing capacity and started second unit at M.I.D.C. Shiroli. During the tenure of business the performance if IEW products gained the customer confidence. IEW developed around 30 varities of product during this period with its own technology and supplied most of them to repeated automobile manufacturers as O.E. as well as replacement market.Company manufacturers spring type shock Absorbers, Hydraulic Shock Absorbers, Dampers, Gas filled shock absorbers & Gas Springs. |
MachinesPlant is well equipped in terms of machine tools/ equipment storing and
material handling equipments and qualified and trained work force for design,
development and manufacturing.
Beside, the company has appropriate inspection and testing facilities including
Reliability testing & Endurance testing. .
Following are main sections of manufacturing :-
1) Machine shop :- With Turning, drilling, Welding, hardening, grinding, forming
rubber moulding facility.
2) Hard Chrome Plating.
3) Phospheting & Painting.
4) Assembly.
5) Packing.
6) Store.
