Hydraulic Shearing Press Brake

Main frame :

The frame is of heavy duty design and hot rolled welded steer plate construction. The shearing table is Integral with the basic machine frame to ensure maximum rigidity.
 

Hydraulic Power pack Unit :

The hydraulic Power pack unit is with pump, motor and valve with block assembly is conveniently located in the back upper part of the frame with the oil reservoir all necessary hydraulic valves are mounted on the compact designed manifold block The Large size of oil reservoir is provided for adequate cooling and increases of oil life. All the Components are used of reliable and reputed internationally available brands.
 

Comprehensive Control Panel :

The control panel is conveniently mounted on the left hard side of the machine to ensure ease to operate when working from the squaring arm end. The panel house push button controls for motor on/off, rake angle position setting, to select operating mode single or inching / continuous shearing operations. And optionally provided motorized back gauge control with digital readout display unit and push button control for motorized/hydraulic blade gap adjustment when optionally provided is also situated on the control panel.

 
Single/Continuous shearing :

The shears have 2-oprating mode. Selector switch is provided to select single or inching / continuous shearing operation.
 

Stroke length control :

The length of cut is infinitely adjustable and it can be selected to provide optimum production output for length of blank to be sheared. And avoid unnecessary blade wear.
 

Blade Rake Angle Adjustment :

The optimum rake angle is set via a selector switch at control panel and allows for selection of the correct rake angle to suit the material being sheared. By increasing or reducing the angle, a semi blanking action is obtained to give minimum distortion of the sheared blanks.
 
Squaring Arm and Sheet support :

All shears are equipped with a 900mm length squaring arm with flip-over stop and 500 mm. support arms with disappearing stops arrangement. Longer squaring and support arms are also available as an option.
 
Shearing Blade :

The Kawa Shears are equipped with HCHCr up to 10mm thick to cut and above 10 mm HCSr resistant Tool Steel AISI D2. AISI 51 and AISI 52 material for Blades in full length with Four Cutting Edges. They are suitable for Cutting Mild Steel and Stainless Steel Sheets.

 
CNC Control-Shear :

Kawa Shears can be supplied with CNC control for automatic operation of the motorized Back gauge, Automatic blade rake angle setting, blade clearance setting, fault indications and cutting length control. The CNC control has Imperial/metric read-outs, and can be accommodate up to 100 programs with memory backup and diagnostics.

Ram and Guidance :

Ram is so designed for minimum deflection, for parallelism of ram travel without servo / Hydro electronic etc. a pair of hydraulic cylinders are synchronized by a heavy duty torsion bar made from heavy walled steel tube. Welded to the levers result absolute parallelism between ram and table. Slide is so design with brass liner fitted inside with ram and runs on saddle perfectly housed with frame.
 

Pins, Pivots and Slide :

All pins and bushes are made from alloy steel material with hardened ground after machining for accurate and long working life. All Pivots, pin, bushes and slides are lubricated by centralized hand operated lubrication systems.
 

Hydraulic Cylinders :

The Hydraulic Cylinder are made from high resistant steel with chromium plated rod with imported seal kit for perfect and long working life and is so design to change or replace the seal kits without any other dismantling like ram tool etc.
 

Tooling :

Kawa KBR series Press Brake machine are equipped with punch and die consist with carbon steel material machined and ground but without hardened. Hardened and Ground standard Punch and Die Block or any special tooling can be offer as an optional.
 

Power Pack Unit: :

The low noise Hydraulic system is designed as per International practices and assembled with internationally reputed make components. The Hydraulic valves are mounted on the especially compact designed manifold block to minimize of piping and to avoid any leakages. The large size oil reservoir is provided for adequate cooling and increase oil life.
 

Operating Mode :

The Kawa press brake machine is facilitate with 3 working mode Inching, Single Stroke and Continuous operation, consist with electrical hard wiring logic of electrical panel. Electrical panels & components are provided as per international reputed brands.

 
Inching :

This mode is used for setting blade angle depth stroke. The ram movement (up down) can be controlled at any described Position from foot switches.

 
Auto :

The cycle (Approach-Pressing-return) is continuously Repeated once this cycle is selected. This mode is useful for Continuous repetitive work where stroke length can be adjusted to suit the job and the operators speed and rhythm.
 
Single :

This mode is used for single operation.
 

Air Bending :

In air bending the dies are made at more of an acute angle (85 degrees or less) than angle to be formed. The only contact between the dies and the material occurs at the tip of male punch and the edges of the female die. The material is “air” bent rather than “coined” or “bottom’ bent.

The advisable “Vee” die openings for air bending are:
V = 6 to 8 x material thickness(t), when t < 4
V = 6 to 12 x material thickness(t), when t < 4

Frame: The Crown column and bottom are mild steel fabricated construction. The table is vertically operated by worm which and it rest on load pin placed in holes in column at required height. Rollers are provided with the table for easy handling of heavy jobs.


Cylinder: The hydraulic cylinder & Ram are made from mild steel. Neoprene rubber pressure seal is mounted at bottom of ram. Socket is provided to facilitate attachment of dies with ram.


Hand Pump: Double plunger pump gives quick ram travel by low pressure plunger and slow speed develops with high pressure plunger.


Power Pack: The suitable hydraulic power pack provided with the unit includes either Gear pump or plunger pump driven by an electric motor of required brand, control valves, connecting hoses & pipes etc.
