awards; recently IOCL Haldia has added a feather in our cap with "safety
awards" for working at a height of 150 feet.
Quality Assurance
quality at indiana fabricators has been the reason of growth and the
vehicle of future. indiana fabricators is now An ISO 9001-2000 company, this
certification is been accorded by M/s TUV India on 22nd of september 2008.
plans are also under way to obtain "u" stamp certification; this
is directly under the supervision of the top management, since quality
control is a function of an independent department reporting directly to the
management. the quality policy declared by the company is:

satisfaction through quality product & timely deliveries by continually
improving the effectiveness of quality management system".
Keeping with the above philosophy, the quality department has been assigned
the following duties :
- Inspection of raw material.
- Stage inspection under different manufacturing process
- Assisting external inspection agencies
- Maintenance of quality documents.

A quality plan is worked out for every job undertaken by indiana
fabricators. The client is welcome to inspect the quality at any point of
manufacturing.
Infrastructure
To gear up in meeting specific customer requirement of timely executing the
contract & to cope-up with the pace, indiana has with it, a land of
appx. one and half acre, constituting a well facilitated shop, having 2
adjacent, different covered shed, each measuring 26 ft. (height) * 45 ft.
(width) * 120 ft. (length), with a overhead crane of capacity 40 mt & 10
mt, in one shed and a 05 mt capacity overhead crane, in the second shed,
together with a well furnished office, in 2000 sq. ft. area, in addition,
one more shed measuring 40 ft. (height) * 45 ft. (width) * 110 ft. (length)
is under construction, in which a overhead crane with a lifting capacity 40
mt shall be installed shortly, in addition sufficient open space is
available, which can be utilised either for material yard, gas cutting or in
case, if required for the fabrication of structural. with this, indiana is
able, to increase its production capacity of structural & allied
fabrication to 300-350 mt per month.
The activities are backed by a strong efficient work force of engineers,
supervisors, fitters & qualified welders etc., who are involved in
planning, procurement, quality control & production functions and are
augmented by consultants & specialists. hence, they are geared to meet
the targeted goals with best of their professional abilities, and because of
the reason, indiana fabricators, is able to deliver their products with best
of the quality and most important on time.
In addition, to keep up with the advances in the field of technology, the
company participates in various seminars and industrial trade fairs in the
country.
