Soil Moisture Meter • It is an AC conductivity meter using solid state instead of vacuum tubes to have longer life of the batteries.
• It uses the alternate current to eliminate polarization and electrolysis errors.
• It helps to know the exact amount of moisture percentage available in soil which a plant can absorb and utilize in different physiological processes.
• Lower end of the scale named as "Permanent Wilting Point" which denotes the condition at which the plant wilt and die.
• At other end is 100% available moisture i.e. amount of water that soil can absorb after thorough rain or irrigation, known as field capacity.
• The span between permanent wilting point and field capacity is available moisture
• Plant growth depends to a great extent on this available moisture
• Shows instant Digital Display of 0% to 100% available moisture
• It has a AC oscillating circuit for better accuracy and to avoid polarization.
• Its hermetically sealed circuit prevents humidity interference
• With accuracy equal +- 1%.
• Two numbers Nylon Impregnated Gypsum Blocks are supplied with the unit
• It uses rechargeable batteries supplied with high quality charging adaptor
• Unit is incorporated with Stainless Steel electrodes for better accuracy.
• Lead wires and connecting tags are perfectly insulated.
• It has 3 1/2 Digit LED display. |
