Sruva is used to collect the ghee and offer it to fire at different times during the ceremony. It is the most widely used spoon over the Homa. Sruva is divided into two parts, one representing the sun is Surya, Soma and the other, it is the moon. Like Sruva, Sruk spoons are made very precise measurements. Sruk is usually used for call offering Purna‐ahuti. This offering of ghee is done at the end of the ceremony. In ahuti purna, sung three times a mantra of the Upanishads, while that the ghee into the spoon, gently glides to the fire. Can be used to put different flours, or to submit the Charu, a preparation made from rice, which is offered to the fire by chanting certain fire ceremonies.
