|  | Bush Type Flexible Couplings Fenner Bush Type Flexible Couplings of the cushioned drive type transmits the torque through high tensile steel bolts to the machine input shaft. Highly rubber compounds are used in bushes to absorb shock loads, torsional vibrations and slight misalignments.
Simple and compact in construction, the Fenner Coupling is capable of transmitting high torque at maximum speeds. The flanges are precision machined in superior cast iron.

|  | HRC Jaw Couplings Fenner HRC Jaw Couplings are essentially general purpose couplings with a flexible element which can accommodate higher degree of misalignment. In view of its superior design HRC Couplings utilising Taper Lock Bush fixing can accommodate large shafts, which make them more economical. The elastomeric component makes HRC coupling suitable for use in most conditions and can withstand temperatures from 40 Deg. C to 100 Deg. C.

|  | Gear Couplings Fenner Gear Couplings are distinguished by their mechanical flexibility and compensation of angular, parallel and axial misalignments of the connected shafts. Extensively used in Metal Rolling Mills, paper Machinery, Cranes, Dredgers, Rubber and Plastic Industries, Cement Plants, Conveyors and elevators, Compressors, Fans and Blowers, Screens and other general industries.
Gear Couplings consist of two hubs, with crowned external teeth and two outer sleeves with internal spur teeth. The gear hubs and the outer sleeves are manufactured from carbon steel and are hardened to the required degree. They are machined to fine tolerances for proper meshing of the gears as well as for inter-changeability.

|  | Resilient Couplings Fenner Resilient Couplings gives a combination of advantages of high power rating of a gear coupling and flexibility of elastomer coupling. They are easy to install and the flexible grids are quickly replaceable without disturbing the connected equipment. They are torsionally flexible providing protection against shock load, impact load and vibration. Heat treated spring steel grid absorbs high impact shocks without loss of energy and transmits full torque with dampened vibration and reduced peak. When overload occurs, grid fails and prevents failure of the shaft or machinery part connected to the coupling.

 | |  | Taper Lock Bushes Using Fenner Taper Lock Bushes, it is possible for unskilled labour to achieve ‘shrink fit’ of pulleys, couplings etc. on the shafts only using a hexagonal wrench. The arrangement of half-threaded holes and longitudinally split tapered bushes ensure maximum grip and fast, easy fitting. No re-boring and keywaying costs, saving time and cost in fitting. Interchangeable between many products, the taper bored components can be transferred to other diameter shafts by fitting alternate bore bushes. Convenience in dismantling for maintenance and component replacement. The benefits of using Taper Lock Bushes can be extended to include components which have a parallel bore by incorporating Taper Lock Adaptors, Taper Lock Bolt-on-Hubs or Taper Lock Weld-on-Hubs.

|  | Taper Lock Hubs and Adaptors Fenner Taper Lock Weld-on Hubs are made of steel, drilled, tapped and taper bored to receive standard Taper Lock Bushes. The extended flange provides a convenient means of welding hubs into fan rotors, steel pulleys, plate sprockets, impellers, agitators and many other devices which must be firmly fastened to the shaft. Fenner Taper Lock Weld-on Hubs are easy to install. Tightening the screws contracts the bore of the bush, thereby locking it to the shaft with the equivalent of a press-fit.
Fenner Taper Lock Bolt-on Hubs are designed for use with the universally accepted Taper Lock Bush. They provide a convenient means of securing fan rotors, impellers, agitators and other devices which must be fastened firmly to shafts.
Fenner Taper Lock Adaptors are available for use in parallel bored components, thereby eliminating the need to drill and taper-bore. Tightening of the Taper Lock Bush screws simultaneously contracts the bore of the bush and expands the adaptor in the bore of the hub, resulting in the firmness of a press-fit on all surfaces. |  |
 | |  | Keyless Locking Assemblies Keyless Locking Assemblies provide zero-backlash frictional connection that will never wear or pound out, and that transmits significant torque, thrust and and/or bending loads. Mounting and Dismounting is easily done with a clearance fit on both the shaft and drive elements. Component timing can be accomplished easily and repeatedly. The Keyless Locking Assemblies with their strong load carrying ability are ideally used with pulleys, axis, sprockets, gears, large size air-fans and marine propellers. We procure and offer FT-type series SUPER LOCKS which have additional advantages as reasonable construction, rich assortment, reliable quality and wide applicability. |  |

|  | Shaft Mounted Speed Reducers (SMSR) The Fenner Shaft Mounted Speed Reducer, metric in design, provides a very convenient method of reducing speed, since it is mounted directly on the driven shaft instead of requiring foundations of its own. It eliminates (1) the use of one, and sometimes two, flexible couplings and (2) external belt take-up arrangements.
A torque-arm anchors the Reducer and provides quick, easy adjustment of the V-Belts by means of its turnbuckle.
The Fenner Speed Reducer is available in 08 different sizes, designated by the letters B through to J. The eight sizes may have anyone of three nominal gear ratios, 5: 1, 13: 1 and 20: 1. A very wide choice of final output speeds can be determined by the use of an appropriate input V -Belt drive. The units will normally be oil lubricated, but they are equally suitable for "lubricated for life" greases.

|  | Industrial Chains JK Pioneer Industrial Transmission Chains from Fenner are robust in construction and are capable of transmitting the torque at high efficiency. The chains are made of high quality carbon steel with precise pitch control thus ensuring smooth and efficient transmission drives.
Roller chains offer a positive and non slip drives where large centre distances are possible. A single chain can drive several shafts simultaneously in almost any configuration. Chain Drives can be used up to a ratio of 9:1. No pre-load is required to tension the chain thus increasing the life of the motor and the drive shaft bearings.

JK Pioneer Industrial Chains are available as per British Standard ¼” to 3” pitch in Single Strand (Simplex), Double Strand (Duplex) and Triple Strand (Triplex) chains. |  |

Strict manufactured tolerances match sprocket profile to international chain standards for a tooling action which significantly reduces sprocket tooth wear..
