Team / ManpowerLate Mr. Dayabhai C Desai (generation 1) in sixties went to an open area on unmotorable roads where he uncovered a material near an open well near a temple which the local folks were using for washing clothes and also applied it on wounds and skin problems. This was done in adverse conditions when there were no proper transport facilities or implements to exploit favourably as in the West.
Late Mr. Dinubhai D Desai (generation 2) who took over the reins in late sixties from Dayabhai C Desai, who had a vision in expanding the mining operations of the company and took it to greater heights by setting the benchmark standards in grading the outputs into 4 different varieties as per the requirements of the customer and was satisfying them. Many erudite clay scientists from all over the world visited the mines and appreciated his efforts and methods practiced and employed. Even as on date the standards set by him are followed to ensure that the quality of goods supplied are of very high order.
Mr. Anil D Desai (generation 3) who is now actively assisting in the business and giving a fillip to the earlier efforts by the older generation, to support in all the areas including his specialty of Marketing division. The business of the company has been on the rise markedly since then. His excellent public relations with the customers enabled the buyers to develop very fast and also engage in the export of the value added products.
Mr. Nikunj A Desai (generation 4) a computer savvy young man of 23 years has the vision of his grandfather and the bloodline of family businessmen, had done extensive survey and surfing as a part of research and development exercise to establish their products superiority. However, not content with the upgrade in technology applied in their line of business in over years and with an eye on increased market capitalisation, launched a massive revamping of the production facility and exploratory work on various available technologies viz nano technology, etc.
