Construction : IH Strip Heaters consist of a G.I/S.S sheath, housing high quality nickel-chrome resistance wire which is insulated by a refractory material selected for best thermal conduction and stability at elevated temperatures. This construction provides fast heat transfer and maximum efficiency. Termination is located at one end, consisting of corrosion resistant studs with washers and lock nuts and can be protected by a standard junction box if required. Mounting lugs are slotted either end.

Surface Heating : Clamped on platens, moulds, sealing bars, hot plates and other heat transferring metal parts example tanks, kettles, autoclaves, cutting knives etc.

Process Air Heating : Drying cabinets, ovens and rooms, moisture protection for motors, controls switch board cubicles etc.

STF Type Finned Strip Heaters : These heaters are of the same basic design and manufacture as the standard ST but are fitted with G.I/S.S fins to give greater heat dissipating area generally used in a moving air application.

Mica Insulated Band Heaters : IH Mica Band Heaters are designed to enable both insulation and removal of the heater, without disturbing or having to previously remove other heaters or fittings.

Construction and Limitations : Manufactured using a nickel-chrome resistance wire, wound into a mica insulated former, the inner heating band is formed into a mild steel outer sheath. A stainless steel outer clamp band is provided with swivel toggles enabling continuous operation to 300°C with maximum recommended wattage to 46.5 Kw/m square

Ceramic Insulated Band Heaters : IH Ceramic heaters are designed for applications where temperatures to 450°C are required, or where watts density is to 60 Kw/m square are needed. Manufactured using individual ceramic links, allows the heater to be opened out over the barrel, without disturbing or having to previously remove other heaters. A stainless steel outer clamp with swivel toggles provides adequate clamping, and a range of electrical terminations are available.

Cast in Aluminum Band Heaters : IH Tubular heaters can be cast in aluminum, bronze, brass to give a unit of long life , repeatability of product quality and versatility in design. The mass of metal surrounding the cast in heater provides a heat-sink of excellent thermal conductivity. This results in high wattage capacity with overall low watt-density, prolong heater life , uniform heat transfer, stable and high temperatures that can be precisely controlled and increased resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.

Mounting and Extracting Lugs :
These cartridge heaters can be fitted with flanged on tag mounting lugs to hold heater firmly in place and lead wires should be supported when in a moving die or platen. Apart from this, the lugs ease heater removal.

Our Immersion heaters provide a heat source with a highest heating efficiency possible as all heat is generated within the solution. This, combined with easy installation and accurate control, makes electric immersion heaters highly useful in many industrial heating processes.
