Insulating Kraft Paper We offer ready stock high quality Weidmann make Insulating Kraft Paper,
manufactured from 100% pure, long fiber sulfate cellulose, which is
free of size & fillers.
Application:
- An insulation on conductors & coils of Transformers
- Conductors of Power Cables
Advantage: The mechanical strength of Kraft insulating Papers enables:
- Maximum winding speeds
- High tension to be achieved.
This results in high degree of homogeneity of the insulation with excellent electrical breakdown values. Available in thickness of: 38, 50, 63, 75, 100 & 125 Micron
Standard Widths: 500, 750 mm. However Widths upto 2500 mm and its multiples can be easily supplied against order.
Slitted Widths:We have 6 Slitting machines, and
we can supply Slitted Kraft paper rolls in widths starting from 4 mm

Insulating Crepe Paper We offer ready stock high quality Weidmann make Insulating Crepe Paper made from high voltage cable Kraft Paper. They consist of 100% pure sulfate cellulose.
Applications
Insulating Crepe Papers are mainly used as:
- wide tapes
- cut narrow rolls for insulation of the parts of high voltage electrical apparatus.
The degree of creeping matches to individual requirements enables manual or machine application & a close connection between layers. Crepe paper is also used in Instrument (Current / Voltage) Transformers
Advantages:
- The fineness, elasticity & high strength of the used base paper results in high dielectric strength of the crapped end products.
- It also guarantees 100% oil impregnation within short time period.
- The control of initial materials together with inspection of finished products enables insulating Crepe Paper to be used in high voltage transformers at areas with field stress as well as in converters, cables and other equipments where stresses are high.
Available Grades: 67/130, 60/90, 80/160, 42/60.
Slitted Widths: We have 6 Slitting machines, and we keep 25 mm Slitted paper ready stock.
Other widths 15 mm and above, can made available against order, with very Short delivery time.
Aluminum Crepe Paper consists of an insulating Paper & aluminum foil, coated with non-conductive adhesive which is insoluble in water or hot oil.
Application: Aluminum Crepe Paper is used as highly effective screening against:
- electrostatic fields for transformer winding, cables, electrical components etc.
- Minimizes the formation eddy currents produced in screening material by magnetic fields.
Advantage:
- High elongation
- Tensile strength
- Flexibility.

Diamond Dotted Paper We offer Diamond Dotted Paper. Weidmann Make Diamond Dotted paper or Thermopox is supplied as double side epoxy dotted on Thermally upgraded paper.
It is compatible with Transformer oil when thermally aged & tested
as per ASTM D3455. This procedure includes tests for dissipation
factor, neutralization number, inter facial tension & dielectric
strength.

- Use as conductor and cable insulation
- As layer insulation in distribution transformers.
