The Lawyers Weekly in its November 2006 edition has quoted Rajeev Goswami, the Director of Intellextra, to emphasise its point that law firms in North America and elsewhere can achieve enormous savings by outsourcing their work to India based LPOs.
The exact paragraph reads as follows: " You can easily save in the range of 40 to 80 per cent, depending on the nature of the work," said Rajeev Goswami, the director of Intellextra Outsourcing Solutions, on his website. Progress, Harmony and Development Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) organised an interactive workshop titled 'Legal Process Outsourcing in India: Current Trends, Issues and Prospects'. Acclivant Outsourcing Services P Ltd was the knowledge partner for this event.
Workshop focussed on the current trends and potential of LPO industry in India. It also discussed risks, issues and strategies to be kept in mind while entering into LPO business. The workshop was huge success and was attended to by hundreds of lawyers from all over the country.
Most of the leading LPOs in India including Pangea3, Evalueserve, Quislex, Acclivant, Law-Scribe and Intellextra participated in the workshop. In addition, Mr. Pawan Duggal, Sr Lawyer Supreme Court of India and Mr. Ranjit Shastri, Country Head PSi Inc. New York also spoke in the workshop. DD-Loksabha, the official TV channel of Indian Parliament invited Rajeev Goswami, the Director of Intellextra Outsourcing Solutions P Ltd. to share his expert comments on the LPO. The program was also attended by Pankaj Parnami, CEO of Acclivant Outsourcing Services P Ltd and Mr. Kaviraj Singh, Advocate.
The program was �Prime Forum� and was telecast on 8th September 2006. It was repeated on 9th September 2006. The objective of the program was to increase awareness among the Indian youth about the new and upcoming areas of opportunities.
The speakers explained a great deal about the LPO. They also apprised the people of the opportunities for students in this field, the size of the market, the qualifications required to work in an LPO and the various laws and regulations governing this industry.
