VANCOUVER, BC Feb 24, 2011 - InterWrap® has recently
reached an important milestone for environmental
certification of its Titanium UDL line of roofing
underlayment products. It now has 3rd party
verification and the authorization to use the SCS
recycled content logo. This logo confirms that all
Titanium UDL products are made with a minimum
20% pre-consumer recycled content. This now means
that all TITANIUM UDL products meet LEEDS M.R. 4.4
for LEEDS compliance. In fact InterWrap recycles 99% of
all scrap generated from its plants. The company’s
mission is to further expand its recycling programs and
continue to increase the verified level of post-consumer
recycled content. This will make things even better for builders or roofers working
towards LEED certified projects.
Choosing InterWrap’s TITANIUM UDL line of roofing underlayment ensures a
contribution towards qualifying for LEED points and builders achieving their goals
obtaining a green building designation from the US Green Building Council.
