Hunger and Education share a proportional relationship. Education resolves the problem of hunger in the long run. The objective of our service is to provide meals to the government school children and to eradicate the vicious cycle altogether. Children cannot study if they do not get proper meals. Dr J. Larry Brown, Tufts University, has described this issue as follows:
"By subjecting children to hunger, we rob them of their God-given potential. We then deliver them to the schools with one arm tied behind their backs and expect teachers to perform an often-impossible task. This, in turn, results in the waste of billions of dollars we invest in the education of our children because hunger prevents them from getting full value of their educational experience."
As per the medical industry, between the age group of 6 and 12 years, major cognitive developments take place. Due to hunger and malnutrition, cognitive developments get impaired, thus, affecting the entire life. Around six million children of India are the victim of mild mental retardation because of the malnutrition and hunger. Hence, to prevent this, we have started this program so that every child gets proper meals and we can secure the future of the country.
