About Us

ITCO Industries Limited, a part of the ITCO group having diverse business activities, was incorporated in 1995 to exclusively develop and manufacture thixotropic gels for fibre optic cables.

Situated in the industrial town of Hosur (40 Km from Bangalore in India) with world class manufacturing and R & D facilities, ITCO pioneered the quality manufacture of Thixotropic Gels (thixotropic cable filling & flooding compounds) in India and remains a key player in the market. The present yearly production capacity is 10800 metric tons.

The ITCO group started its activities in 1938 as a manufacturer and exporter of Mica and Mica products for use in electrical appliances and later diversified into handling other products for Telecom Cables and Power Capacitors industry.

ITCO group company also represents Alcan Packaging Kreuzlingen AG, Switzerland (condensor aluminium foils) and Bollore, France (polypropylene films).

Aiming to be an important supplier of speciality raw materials, ITCO today has a presence in the key Infrastructure areas like Telecom, Power and Mining.

Quality Policy / Processes

We are fully aware that filling compound is amongst the most important raw materials in a cable and any compromise with its quality would play havoc with the production line and the performance of the fibres. We ensure that every batch manufactured is consistent and meets strict quality norms thereby fulfilling all the relevant specifications.

Our well-equipped laboratory allows us to conduct all the important quality tests in-house. Our quest for excellence and constant improvement in our products and processes enabled us to get ISO 9001 Certification during the second year of operations itself. It ensures that we have the process and the systems to accept every customer demand and fulfill them.
