Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor

We are engaged in offering our customers with a wide range of Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor. These are an Ultra sense liquid level sensor, well known as non contact sensor that is a direct replacement for all the level senders on tanks having depths ranging up to ≤ 2 meters (78 inches). The defined Ultra sense RS-485 bus, assist in messaging over the RS-485 bus and the real time processing of fuel data. These RS-485 bus also facilitates the user to have flexibility in programming the Ultra sense sensor for tank configuration, gauge drive output full and empty endpoints, sensor mounting offset and communication mode. The Ultra sense are specially designed for the small tanks. Our offered sensors are comparable to mechanical level switches, having the same tank size. Additionally, these non-contact instruments efficiently works with a wide range of media including Motor oil, diesel, hydraulic fluid and black water as well. These find their wide use for measuring level of liquids in small storage tanks, Conveyor line counting, Open Channel flow, Web loop tension measurement, collision detection and many more.

 

Measurement Technology:

Ultra sense uses ultrasonic technology, which is used to generate high frequency sound wave and measure the time for the echo to reflect off of the liquid’s surface and return back. The distance from the level sensor to the fuel is calculated based on the speed of sound. The measured distance is converted into a current loop analog output (4-20mA) or the output can be either RS485 data.

 

The measured distance is converted into a percentage of tank capacity (Full to Empty), and volumes in gallons based on the geometry of the tank.
