InfrastructureGlass, which has to be toughened, has to pass through different stages before it is fed into the toughening and / or insulating lines and subsequently dispatched. All orders are prepared as per unique customer requirements, which make-work order scheduling and routing a challenging task. The different stages in the production process are as under: Cutting( CNC cutting line): Glass sheets are first cut in the automatic glass cutting line according to customer specifications. Double Edger ( single and double edger machine): The rough glass edges are edge worked to make the edges smooth and polished (if required). “With higher output & better quality product.” Edge Seaming Line : The glass edges are automatically grinded on this CNC control machine, specifically for the high performance glasses use for structural glazing, (single / double ) the grinding quality is much better and glass comes out clean after washing. Fabrication: Any fabrication (holes, cutouts, notches) to be done is also performed at this stage.
Washing: Glasses are perfectly washed and freed from all dust particles and foreign material. The washing is in line at every stage, there by removing dust at each stage. Toughening( forced convection): Once the glasses are precisely pre-processed, they are fed into the toughening line to temper the glass sheets. This machine is capable of processing high performance glass ( hard coated / soft coated ).
