Mr Bhupinder Singh Jauhar is the spirit behind the Jamna Group. He started the spring business in 1954 in a small shop in Yamuna Nagar which has now acquired global recognition as the fifth largest producer of Leaf and Parabolic Springs. He is also actively associated with leading educational institutions in Yamuna Nagar and Charitable organizations across the Globe. Mr Jauhar is currently non executive Chairman of the board of directors of the company and is Chief Mentor of the Group.Jamna?s four state of the art manufacturing facilities are located at Yamuna Nagar, Malanpur (near Gwalior), Chennai and Jamshedpur. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Jai Suspensions System Limited (JSSL) has a plant at Pant Nagar in Uttarakhand.
Combined production of Leaf and Parabolic springs rank Jamna Group as the fifth largest manufacturers in the world. It is introducing Lift Axles and Bogie Suspensions for the first time in India which will enhance efficiency of CVs covering long distances and in mining segment.
Jamna has built up a strong dealer network, through its subsidiary JSSL, all over the country to support growing domestic After Market demand. The company sells springs under the ?JAI? brand in the After Market and its products command premium.
