Such connectors are manufactured by copper. It consists of several stacked strips with riveted or welded contact areas. They have a constant cross-section over the whole length. Bus bars connectors with the same cross section can be loaded with the same current. A part of connectors are utilized as flexible expansion connectors in order to connect busbars or busbars with switch gears, transformers, generators etc. Thanks to their elasticity thermal expansion of bus bars is being compensated. Most of the parts are used as expansion connectors to prevent damages by vibration caused by switch gear operations. Copper Wire Bar / Cakes are forged / hot rolled and cold worked to the required dimension. The products are available in Hard, Half-Hard and Soft condition. General Properties Material with minimum Copper Content of 99.9% as per IS191 & IS1897.

General Properties are Material with minimum copper content of 99.9% as per IS-191. Size is 12mm to 160mm dia. in shape of Round, Hex and Square.

Flat Copper Wire is drawn from round inlets in single operation, through a Roll-Draw unit. The round input is flattened in two stands of flattening rolls, with one edger in between and finally drawn through T.C. die having correct profile. The drawn strip is annealed at the vacuum annealing unit in protective gas atmosphere. General Properties are Material with minimum copper content 99.95% as per IS-191 & IS-6160; Cross Section is max. 120 mm²; Width is Between 3 to 160 mm; Thickness is Between 1 to 10 mm; Fields of Application are Bus Bars, transformer Windings, Motor Commutators, Trolley Wires etc.

Copper Wire Rods are drawn down to thick (8 - 1 mm), medium (1 - 0.40 mm), Fine and Superfine (0.40 - 0.05 mm) diameters. Depending on demand, wires can be produced as Tin coated, bare, hard or annealed. General Properties are Material with minimum copper content 99.95% & Size is 8 mm to 0.05 mm diameter. Fields of Application are Winding Wire, Cables, Transformers, Telecommunication, Railways etc.

Copper Strips find many applications as Electrical Conductors, Switch Terminals, Hardware used in Electrical Circuits, Electrical Contacts. The products are available in Hard, Half-hard and Soft condition. General Properties are Material with minimum Copper content of 99.9% as per IS 191 & Size is Width 3 mm to 180 mm; Thickness o.25 mm to 10 mm.

Single and double cotton covered Round / Rectangular conductor as per IS 7391. Double / Triple and Multiple paper covered Round / Rectangular Conductor as per IS 7404.  Varnish bonded Double glass fibre (yarn) covered braided. As per IS 6181 & IS 4685. Nomex covered Round / Rectangular conductor. These conductors are required by the manufacturers of transformers, HT Motors, Alternators, Electromagnets, Welding Machine, etc. General Properties are Material with minimum copper content of 99.9% as per IS-191 & Size is As per customer`s requirement.

Flexible connectors combine maximum conductivity & minimum voltage drop, without loss of flexibility in the braid. Copper tube is used for terminals, which are compressed onto the braid without altering the braid size.

Forged Copper Clamp is a recent development and is substituting Brass Contact Pad. These clamps are far superior and cost effective than the clamps made of Brass. Clamp is forged, the grain structure is compact, it is leak proof and is free of blowholes. The surface of the clamp is machined resulting in better surface contact with electrodes. These connectors have been developed specifically for the electrical distribution industry & are used extensively by generator & switchgear manufacturers. They are also used as expansion joints between solid Bus Bar arrangements. This heavy duty, high specification connectors have a current carrying capacity of up to 3500 amps. Multi-laying braids either on top of each other or side by side can increase the current carrying capacity.
